So your argument is that racism now exists because the players take the knee? Naive and victim blaming really. No matter what the players do racism is never excusable. If the racists are using that as an excuse, the chances are they harbour those views anyway. Most people don’t abuse others on ethnicity because they do something they disagree with, unless they thought negatively of them because of ethnicity.

BPG, I have no intention of re-posting your stupid remarks linking the knee to Marxist groups. The fact that you took the opportunity to do so above shows how misguided you are.

You have repeatedly posted on IB saying that racism has been “virtually” eliminated. Then to cover yourself to add “at football grounds”.

What has happened again after yesterday’s final, and which has been going on for several years now, is the continued abuse of players, mostly but not exclusively on social media. Your posts suggest that you think this doesn’t matter. Or that it’s okay because you can’t hear it.

If this is not the case then perhaps you could post again admitting it IS a problem, and that players are right in keeping it in the public attention by taking the knee. After giving it some thought you may also wish to admit it has nothing to do with any Marxist agenda.

If you were to come out in support of the players and condemn racist abuse wherever it happens then I will be more than willing to apologise for not fully quoting you.

To be fair If you look on line 2 of the 3 founders of the Black Lives Matter Movement even stated they both we’re trained marxist’s.

It’s not that hard to find. There is a video on youtube of said leader even stating so on a radio bloody talk show. The person in question was even in person answering questions.

I personally don’t think Millionaire’s bending down to one knee putting a fist in the air is doing a lot.

If they really want to do good then put some funding together and go into these communities and physically do something.

All I see mostly is virtual signalling out of touch millionaires for the most part.

I’m not against it. I don’t particularly believe in it either. Each to their own.

You can’t be certain there was no racist abuse inside the ground unless you were there.

What you can be certain of is that the Italian National Anthem was booed, as has that of every side we’ve played, which is appalling no matter how you look at it.

There was also the ugly scenes involving England fans fighting England fans in the concourse and surrounding areas as they tried to barge their way in without tickets. Luckily modern stadia are designed to cope with this, otherwise we could have had another Hillsborough on our hands.

Very sad that what was a rare sporting occasion brought out the worst in some people.

I repeat – how can you train someone to be a Marxist? It’s not a circus trick.

What the hell does the political leanings of a graduate of UCLA have to do with football in Britain and Europe anyway.

The England team made it blatantly clear that they were doing this in support of stamping out social injustice. Nothing to do with Patrisse Cullors or Marxism. No Black Power salutes to be seen.

Rashford should be commended for making that direct plea to the government. Rashford with being an influential young black man had the pulling power to pressure them and they crapped themselves and caved in, in record quick time.

For the most part though all they’re doing is bending down sticking a fist in the air to promote a misguided political organization who was founded by 3 hate filled women.
