Let’s try and sort this Awaywego just one more time for you. The players either individually or collectively through their professional association have stated that they VOLUNTARILY take the knee to support the anti racism campaign in sport, no other reason, no other agenda, just that. My take on it is that he had no idea what was going on. So I don’t for one minute believe he felt obligated to do anything.

More that it is not an issue in the Ukraine. I’ve never been to Kiev so I can’t comment on race relations in that part of Europe.

What I care about is that my country is seen as being anti-racist and am therefore proud to see the national team showing their continued support.

If you stopped reading and listening to all the scare stories on the internet and in the press you might stop crapping yourselves about where it will all end and just except these gestures to promote equality for what they are. There’s no ulterior motives behind them. If people don’t agree with these gestures of course that’s absolutely fine. But when you start objecting to their right to do it either physically or online you’re merely demonstrating bigotry (i.e. you refuse to accept their opinions and beliefs). Are you that stupid or set in your ways that you can’t understand that?

Thanks for your honesty, it’s nice to see you realise the players are voluntarily taking the knee to support anti racism in sport and not some Marxist backed regime as people like BPG have alluded too, with no evidence whatsoever to back up this ridiculous claim. As for the armband, I guess he’s happy to wear it as England captain, something you and I Awaywego will never have the privilege of doing, guess it’s his choice based on merit of being captain.
