SWANN couldn’t wait to sell Loft on in January window. No other chairman with an ounce of common sense would release your only recognised striker being in our present league position, particularly as he said himself he wouldn’t do that until a replacement was brought in. And now we’re left in the hazardous position, like today’s match, finishing with no striker on the pitch!!!!!! WHAT A WAY TO RUN A FOOTBALL CLUB, ABSOLUTELY SUICIDAL SWANN!!!!!!!!

You’re assuming Swann knows what he’s doing. He came on the radio and did exactly the opposite of what he promised live on air. Credibility zilch

If the player wants out what do you do! Keep him and he doesn’t want to be here he then causes disruption which is the last thing he need at present.
Also why are we going on about loft as though he scored 25/30 goals a season he was shite compared to what he have had in the past and was only interested 1 game in 10.

Hardly like selling Barrie Thomas was it.

No issue in selling Loft – he wasn’t as good as he thought he was, the issue I have is he left very early in January, we’ve played 6 lost 6 – never done that before and we played the last third of this match trying to get back into it with no striker on the pitch. Ensure the one coming in is signed and sealed then let him go – what you shouldn’t do is promise the fans he won’t leave without a replacement lined up and then true to form…..

I’m just guessing here. I got the impression that Loft was better than the performances he put in for us. He gave us a glimpse in the match against Oldham, then went back to his sulking self.

He had to go, and there was no available replacement at the time. In short, he was taking the piss and getting paid for it. Shame we couldn’t give him a proper send off. Involving some heavy weights and a trap door….

Until it is impossible it is never too late ! But without going to be difficult.

All the monies saved on the least 2 pre-season recruitments have lost money when you look at falling gates, money from car parking and any catering. And the cost of bringing in players with ability will again cost more than has been saved !

2 top signings for midfield in, but now need 2 CB’s because the 2 we have are not good enough. So understand when Mr Hill says 6 possibly 7 new faces are needed.

A lot of phone calls on sunday and monday will be needed – really is the last chance.

    Yeah, nah.
    As the Aussies say.
    We’re down.
    Start preparing now.
Spend no more, get rid of all dross, and prepare for a good FEW seasons non league.
I dont think I’ll live to see us back.

Looking at the remaining fixtures, and assuming a new forward and CB comes in, I’d say it’s still doable. Back to back home wins next two look like a necessity and taking maximum points from most the remaining home games and the odd point and cheeky 1-0 away win. No wriggle room for error in games we should be getting points from, but there’s still a glimmer. Time for my tablets…

So what, have we 20 games left?

If Kieth gets his players, then anything is possible. I’m not saying that I trust the chairman, I really don’t. But I do trust this manager. He had fed on scraps and survived many times in the past, but in our case he has a real challenge. I actually believe he is up to it.

We have seen what is probably going to be our downfall, and it may or may not happen. But we should surely be looking at it from a different angle. Plenty of matches left to turn this thing around,

    Come on! UTI.

Just 18 games. Another 2 games would be preferable!

    A pointless January.

Take that any way you will!

Home form has always been the key factor but it’s looking more like relegation every week, we need a striker in pronto and just hope he and Burns can strike up an instant rapport, unlikely but it could happen.🤞
