Check the website Ferrite, there’s some offers on I believe.
I know you’re a troll or a parody but this is exactly how the club’s attitude to marketing comes across: “you come to us” rather than actively looking the other way round.
February 7, 2022 at 2:00 pm #231663Scunthorpe United FOOTBALL club RB, that is what you would be buying. Just like buying Derby county minus the massive debt.
February 7, 2022 at 2:15 pm #231665And what about the ground??
February 7, 2022 at 2:33 pm #231667You never asked about the ground RB, what about it, we’re getting it rent free at the moment.
February 7, 2022 at 2:53 pm #231671As per my previous post on this thread, you don’t offer a reason why these supporters are stayaways.
Can’t just be a fear of catching Covid can it?Never answers any questions, especially those that weaken his already weak argument.
He just can’t see that any business consistently providing sub-standard product will lose customers. Don’t forget he only wants fans not customers.5 users thanked author for this post.

February 7, 2022 at 3:26 pm #231676Absolutely correct Ferrite. Clubs attitude “you come to us”. But then if this is how the Chairman portrays fans purely as money coming through the turnstile and not being valued at all then this attitude will filter right through the club. It feels as if the commercial department no longer exists at SUFC. Everything feels as if it has been taken away from supporters. No half decent football or players, no matchday programme, no working scoreboard, sub-standard toilets and facilities, catering prices increased and at the same time prohibited from taking your own food or drinks into the stadium and now on the verge of losing our football leage status after having been a Football League Club for over 70 years. Oh what great marketing!!!!

February 7, 2022 at 4:03 pm #231682Oh yeah the ground doesn’t belong to the club. How could I forget.
So what I’m I going to get is a scruffy house I need to rent and upkeep. And a Club with no assets whatsoever.
Hmmm why would you buy then?
Surely there’s a catch.

February 7, 2022 at 5:05 pm #231685You never asked about the ground RB, what about it, we’re getting it rent free at the moment.
At the moment
Have a read what the Walsall fan is saying on a different thread, paying £450,000 rent to the last chairman and it’s crippling to be honest !!!
February 7, 2022 at 7:37 pm #231696Walsall have an option to buy the freehold back, The new chairman as being there 3years now, he is not going to buy the ground back he doesn’t have the money so who is?. Would seem a lot of money to rent the ground at first glance, but was only 8% of Walsall’s revenues so doesn’t look to bad in the round does it.
February 7, 2022 at 7:53 pm #231698Look at the type of player we can afford now, whilst we aren’t paying rent on the ground yet, it doesn’t bare thinking about really.
February 7, 2022 at 8:19 pm #231699But from what I am to believe a new owner would make everything rosy again, attracting bigger crowds enabling the acquisition of better players. There problem solved.
February 7, 2022 at 9:29 pm #231702You never asked about the ground RB, what about it, we’re getting it rent free at the moment.
We are to enjoy having OUR GROUND rent free? Feck that Herr Swann!

What value do you attribute the Club?
Players?
Ground?
Training Facilities?February 13, 2022 at 10:14 am #231977Well based on Matheson being a £1 million pound player I’d rate our squad at approaching the £100 million pound mark.

February 13, 2022 at 11:45 am #231987February 13, 2022 at 1:25 pm #231990Do you think the council would sell the fans down the river and allow the stadium to be redeveloped into something else, most councils see football stadia as a community asset. Swanns dealings with North lincs council haven’t been the most amicable in the past so may struggle to get planning permission.

February 13, 2022 at 4:38 pm #231993SWANN has gone very quiet again, like the invisible man! According to posts on here he’s not even bothering to attend matches.if that’s correct it speaks volumes. Who knows what he is up to now and what his future plans are. Although if he came out and said what his plans are would we be any wiser anyway???????

February 14, 2022 at 7:00 am #232001Why’s it naive? If you want to enjoy the good times you’ve got to endure the bad. Imagine what difference an extra 1000 fans could make to the playing budget? £250k per season at least!
Hi UTI, can you give some examples of initiatives put in place by the club to try to attract new fans (customers) or get old ones to return? Thanks!
No he can’t mate, I have have asked it many time to just name ONE single improvement under Swann and he can’t do it because he knows there are none. How it has the nerve to blame the fans is beyond comprehension!
