Who else would take it on ?. If Swann does the right thing and writes hits loans off, I can see there being interest.

Swann’s not exactly spending a fortune is he !

All I wanted is a chairman to actually act and behave as a chairman…not a deluded super scout or wannabe tactician…just a simple chairman.

There must be one out there somewhere surely ?

Chairman to put the structure back in the club. Sign a scout “not their own son” and leave the football down to football people.

Is that too much to ask ?

Actually Swann is spending a fortune,Kings Lynn estimate they need £400,000 for the remaining part of the season, so imagine Swanny needs to spend more,if it’s small change to you WG you should make a bid for the club.

I totally understand PS re Covid and how it’s hit the club and all of his businesses.
But to blame everything else including crap signings on Covid is HS.

We are all in the shit together unless your Amazon or Tesla et Al. My line of work has suffered massively too.

Thing is with PS he’s offered us eating at Michelin starred table with all the Ground talk,Apartments etc. And from what he said we need investors.

So what we’ve ended up is eating from a takeaway. We won’t see any improvements. We are worse off from where he picked us up by a country mile.

I didn’t agree with if I heard correctly that he’d given us better years than the previous chairman or near too it.
I’m sure we were watching entertaining football with decent crowds and everyone was upbeat.
Now we don’t even have a beat!
Throwing money at the problem won’t work neither.
The biggest problem PS/SUFC have is to entice folk back to GP.

COVID never made him run through managers, never made him buy Jarvis, Mooney, Loft KDT, and a whole raft of poor non league players
It didn’t make him switch from experienced high eaners to the complete opposite with a raft of mediocre players with no experience alongside them
COVID may have fogged his brain to think Jarvis was coming good and running channels – funniest thing this year
COVID didn’t fall out with every stakeholder he comes into contact with.

Why not say the club is for sale and see what happens – it can go two ways – nobody is interested and proves his point – genuine interested parties. There are still several parties looking at football clubs, some closer than others. Swann is waiting for the billionaire to approach him (why billionaire?) but has no intention of selling as he knows it comes with too many caveats associated with the land and the loans and makes the sale pointless.

What a waste of time listening to that podcast. The questions asked were knowhere near direct enough. They were pussyfooting around Swann as if too afraid what his reactions would be. Swanns answers were even worse. The man persistently and intentionally drags out his replies, moves on to something else, to save there being so many questions asked, and never answers what is asked. You’re right he would make a damn good politician. It’s been the same at every forum and we have been to every one of them. He is full of fudge and bluster in my opinion. NOT A CLUE ON HOW TO RUN A FOOTBALL CLUB. The dangerous thing is he believes he is good at it. Unbelievable of him to state that the club is run better and run like a proper club now. WHAT PLANET IS HE ON.

    I completely agree with NLI.
I would like to know if the people who were asking the questions were allowed to select which questions they asked Swann. If not,who did?

Not sure why people are getting worked up about the questions asked.

Like all politicians the answers would have been the same whatever the questions.

Personally I would like to thank the guys for arranging it and running it in their own time on behalf of us all.

I would also like to thank the chairman for pitching up and doing it. Not many would.

Having said all of that most of the answers were disappointing and uninspiring. To an outsider it seems the football side of the club is being run by the chairman with help from a manager whose main asset is doing what he is told.

not sure why people are getting worked up about the questions asked.

I wouldn’t say more worked up, more disappointed. If you’re not sure why people were disappointed at the questions asked, then I give up.

It’s almost like Matt and co were shit scared to ask anything too challenging. All that get’s me is, Matt has a lot to say on twitter venting his disappointment like the rest of us and then has him on a live forum and his arse virtually drops out.

I bet they’re told by Swann or have an inkling if they push him even a little bit by asking questions then it will be the end of it, which begs the question if that’s the case “which is appears to be”…..what’s the point in it all if you feel you’re unable to ask the questions which needs answering ?

I mean if you’re too scared to ask the questions that need answering, not sure what purpose it serves.

People went out their way to send questions in, some of which were fantastic but again, if you daren’t ask the questions in case Swann throws a massive tantrum…is it worth peoples time ?

Not paying me anything WG,far from it he’s not had any money from me since the cods game in early march though he is paying for most things at scunny. Thank you Peter for keeping our club going not forgetting the season ticket holders as well for contributing, maybe others might be more appreciative. But then again hell hath not frozen over.

Want to own a club then you accept the responsibility of it.

In 2017 at one time we were 2nd in league 1 to Sheff Utd, can’t blame Covid-19 for the present debacle it has been building for these 3 to 4 years. The recruitment policy over those years has seen lower quality of recruits in comparison to those released with little in funds for any transfer deals for departing players.

And yet it is persisted with.

No matter who says what on this forum, the facts are “the club is in big trouble”, and for all to see nothing is being actioned to change this situation, I can vividly remember Mr Swann stating on TV a couple of years ago when we were struggling in League One, “there is no chance of the club being relegated into League Two”, his same statement is again beinf brandished by him, and what makes things worse is the fact that this present team is a lot worse than that one, how can he say that when we are playing shite every game, and getting turned over by all the other bottom poorteams. It is obviouse that Cox hasn’t a bloody clue what to do, and how to stop the rot, who does he turn to? Lillis, Musslewhite of Swanns son (awaywego) ??.

Swann: ‘I didn’t want Awaywego as manager but Coxy came in and said this is the one I want to replace me’ ‘he’s got no discernible skills or experience but has a big pair on him….. can you imagine the grief he would get from people he never listens to or cares about (the morons) …. I mean if we actually cared what fans think then that would be really awkward. Luckily I own 92% of the club and nobody else matters….. and when the time comes he will make a great construction manager sorry I mean football manager….’

Awaywego would make a great construction manager, he’s shown a keen interest in pylon design from a young age apparently.

Regarding the questioning, do you think it possible that, prior to broadcast, the boys went through the questions they had ready and Mr Swann selected the questions they could ask and to which he could give a vague non-answer?

That’s what I was thinking but I’m back to what I said before, if that is indeed the case and you can’t ask the questions that really need answering….what is the real point of it ?

Matt is free to get my mobile number if he asks for it and next time there’s a forum, I’ll ask a few choice questions.

That’s an open invitation to Matt if he wants it.

    I’m not hiding anywhere.

I won’t suspect he’d like it but I’ll ” In the nicest way possible” I’ll make Swann feel the most uncomfortable he’d have felt in a long time.

I won’t take politician speak either, I’ll ask the question until I’m satisfied with the answer or he flatly refuses to a point he doesn’t want to go any further.

Either way, I’ll give it a damn good go.

My number is here Matt if you want it. I’ll gladly pass it on to you.

Thanks for being considered as manager, let’s face it I couldn’t do a worse job than Cox or McCall. My first call will be to withdraw from playing until fans are allowed back in the grounds,I have a duty of care to my players and their families and will not put them at risk. While having this time I will be getting rid of the services of Cox Lillis mussie and Wilcox, I will bring my own team in who I will recruit from Bru the football knowledge on here should see us alright.

They all sound like sensible suggestions Awaywego and I think most if not all bruers would support 4-4-2 experienced spine and a mix of league two experienced players with a view to bring 3-4 youngsters through to develop and sell on as a sustainable model – it falls down when the chairman controls it all and believes offering 2 year contracts to a complete car crash of players ill equipped for league two is the way to go.

I would give you 10 games to get it sorted

I want my managerial style to be a cross of Clough, Keegan and Adkins, and will leave the coaching to someone else he will also pick the team ,edging towards NI as chief scout at the moment he seems knows who we don’t want I hope he knows who we do want (budget permitting), shall you be applying for anything Ironawe? Swanny pays good and will be a nice top up to your pension you’ll be receiving in July.
