On track for what my ‘boardroom expert’ was predicting – or is Swanny going to depart: unloved, unappreciated and maligned by all those ingrates who call themselves Iron fans?If he is going, yes, it will be unloved and unappreciated, certainly by me. The club is in a far poorer state than when he arrived so this “ingrate” won’t be sorry to see the back of him

I’m guessing Lee is taking charge of chairman’s duties till further notice which lets hope means new owners are waiting in the wings. Bulldozers moving in come May will show where the latest North Lincs housing estate is being built.

DONT GET TO EXCITED YET! Swanny once again trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes by “stepping down” but lee turnbull is being put in the firing line now. I like turnbull alot hes passionate about the club and should have always been our scout but i fear now this is just another similar move to what elliot was put into. Dont be fooled because fenty did this at the cods as well. Until i see a statement saying he has SOLD the club then we are still staring up shit street.

I agree we can’t get too excited yet, nothing has confirmed whether he is selling. Statement to come this weekend which I’m sure will clear many of our questions up.
Simon resigning his position as director and then this? Is it optimistic thinking to wonder if he is behind a bid to take over the club?

Got out so he does nt have to face the consequences of his policies when we get relegated in a couple of weeks.

Relegation will not be on his CV !It will be on his CV as far as Iron fans are concerened, when Fenty stood down as Cods chairman but still remained the owner he received even more vitriol than before for sulking in the shadows. This guys legacy wont be forgotten and he will escape 0% of the blame for what has happened to OUR club.
