So. To get us back on track, all we need is 7+ points from the next three fixtures.
Blessings on the loyal fans who are trekking darn sarf as I write.
As a confirmed ageing fart, I can’t recall the last away game I went to. Sigh!
Used to do a dozen plus every season.

Can see us sneaking a 0v0 draw again! Rory will have to play a blinder though!
Just enough to make some of us think we might actually have chance of staying up!

Ps my head says 3v0 Sutton!

We got to have faith. Those players brought in in January should be fit enough now, given Kieth Hill’s fitness regime.

I’m hoping we go darn sarf and give em a bloody nose.

This must be the fifth ” must win” game in a row.

Surely we must win a must win game soon…….

If we don’t win this “must win” game today then next week’s game at Crawley will surely become a “must win” game.

I’m trying to get the day off for the Crawley match. If this is to be our last season in the football league, then I want to let the players and the manager to know it was not their fault.

I think after losing to Rochdale and Oldham at home we probably need 4 points from our 2 southern trips to keep the faint light at the end of the tunnel.

Totally irrationally I think we can get a result today. We will need Rory to play really well again but agree with LK the fitness is starting to come.

Just saw the lineup, probably the weakest bench I’ve ever seen. Why isn’t Burns starting?

Where are Lewis, Hallam, Perry & Taft? Not seen any injury reports, an outbreak of Cantbearseditis in some cases?

Good call on the 3-0 prediction, its just before half time.

Everything coming down the flanks tearing our full backs to bits – I think if we had the PSG squad Swann’s stench on the club would ruin them

London away trip for The first time would’ve usually attracted 500+ down there- me included.

Absolutely no chance this sack of shite deserve such support.

Still genuinely think we will do well to reach 30 points .

Only thing to look forward to is Hill’s post match interview
    ‘building for the future
    ‘unlucky’
    ‘disappointed’
‘got to do better in possession’

The issue is Hill had a small pool to pick from due to the Embargo, having said that what improvement have we seen from Cox? I still back him but we’ve got to see some improvement otherwise this club won’t last in NL.

I said last week Cliff I can’t see us catching the team presently above us on their present points, we can’t fluke a result it is demoralising, feel sorry for those going away because we seem to lose every game but we don’t score any either yet the stats don’t give the impression of the score.

Let’s just accept it, it’s over we are going down, it’s a sad state of affairs made worse by the fact that’s we’re not even putting up a fight, but the owners have a lot to answer for.

Players like young Harvey could well be first team regulars in our non league campaign next season if the current cheap skaters are still in charge. Good luck lad your gonna need it but congratulations on your first team outing today, wow 16 that’s very special.

So the team score an away goal at last, was it scored by a forward?, no it had to be an OG!!.

Looking at the teams records, the last away goal was scored on Boxing Day 2021, so a Scunny player has not scored a goal in 2022!!, although I used to attend many away games, and enjoyed the days out, but I honestly cannot see why so many are still attending, only good thing today was that the game was not shown on Ifollower, which saved me a tenner, it was bad enough listening it on Radio, so was spared viewing it!!!!!!!

I was one of the souls that travelled sarf. The display at Sutton just delivered another nail in our football league existence from a team that seems to have accepted the inevitable already. Not fit to wear the shirt. Bereft of any sort of passion, fight, ability, quality whatsoever. This team is heading into the football abyss and won’t be returning any time soon. UTI !

Bloody hell when jokes about the codheads are posted about the Iron you realise how far the club has fallen, battered indeed. 😟

Can’t have been that because some of those showing symptoms of the disease still got a game.

Worst lge ground I ever been to, based in a park reckon they just embanked it and called it a football ground totally devoid of atmosphere, the kids should really claim it back, the EFL have really set a low base there, makes our tin shed look like the nou camp. Every pub and there were lots of them, away friendly and very busy though we did notice lack of home colours or shirts in them. I am sure there will be worse grounds next year but if the towns are as good as Sutton at least the social side will be good. Because by god the football certainly wasn’t. All the fans on the trains seemed to get on remarkably well no thanks to the EFL fancy having scunny Donny and Hull playing away traveling on the same Trainline? The Newcastle fans are going to be (were) awfully annoying they were giving it large already and they’ve not even won anything yet the young ones very condescending already. 2 Burnley fans were fighting on the train and police were waiting for them at Peterborough to take them away though they did think it was the scunny saga crew who were involved lol.
