I’m seriously struggling to maintain any interest at all in the ‘beautiful game’. Difficult though it is trying to explain this to non-football supporters, what’s happened to our club has crushed my love for football.

Having supported Swann for so long, to say I feel let down is the understatement of the century. I now hate the man. Hate is a strong word but that’s how I feel. Absolutely full of hate for him and what he’s done to our club. How wrong I was ever to have supported him and well done to all of those who told me I was wrong. How right they were.

So, Swann, get out of our club; and before you go, let’s hear a bit of humble pie. Forget covid and all those pathetic excuses. Just admit what a useless job you’ve done and how you’ve let the entire club, its employees and supporters down. It might only be a game, blah, blah, blah, but for many of us our football club does matter. You’ve ruined ours.

Because of the way you defended Ernest, and believed everything he said for so long I cannot give you a thank you.

It is a pity for you that the light only came on as energy prices rise!

    No hard feelings though.

Bucks – expecting humble pie from Swann. Don’t hold your breath.

And yes Swann, I’ve heard your pontificating first hand, eg ‘we won’t be relegated’, ‘I’ll do what it takes’.

    Talk’s cheap. F off.

Ceteris Paribus – in life, very little remains constant.
However, it would seem that the die has well and truly been cast now and that the outcome is inevitable.

Humble pie? Need a lot more than that from him. Couldn’t give a toss about any humility he’s clearly incapable of.

Good to see Bucks is still alive and well and giving Swann a verbal arse-kicking!

Funny how the bloke has turned a forum of disparate posters into a like-minded group who want Swann out asap.

Renee, just make rhubarb crumble. Perhaps put a dash of your famous cognac in it!

Thanks, BI – I know you supported PS to a strong degree.
I didn’t like what I was seeing but having been in management, I was anxious that he would not find himself pilloried unfairly – as is so often the case with people with responsibility who are judged by those who have zero overview.
Those without the overview had probably worked on gut feelings instead. Gut feelings can be spot on sometimes, of course. (But personally, I mistrust ’em as a general rule.)
We eventually reached a point where I had to accept the majority view – however arrived at – and for quite some time now, I have wanted to see this man go.

Humble Pie from Peter Swann – Not a chance !

Blames everyone else for the last 9 years of appalling leadership orchestrated by HIMSELF. But worse is he will not or cannot accept what he has done.

And what difference would it make? Not a jot. Screw the humble pie, we need decent actions from him. That ain’t happening either!

More chance of Tony Blair admitting to being a war criminal and lying about WMDs in Iraq.

that’s the problem with the right Kitchener, I guess. He won’t
I am more concerned about the club surviving ,another month than whether anyone on here apologies or Swann eats humble pie.
It’s not even good being right all along right now

More chance of the present Labour party admitting what a great legacy he left, national Minimum wage, sure start centres, the Belfast agreement, school building programme, the Human rights act, and some will even say rights for gays including the introduction of the civil partnership.

Given the state of the country is probably on par with the state of our football club you don’t really believe that bullshit do you?

I suppose its what happens when you put a fat lying entitled arrogant shit in charge of anything.
