Thought i’d start one so we can all complain at how bad we played today.
January 2, 2021 at 2:51 pm #200067KDT winner
January 2, 2021 at 4:23 pm #200073Lodt is awful, only had to kick it and he missed the ball completely
January 2, 2021 at 4:43 pm #200076The only thing more boring than the game is the commentary
January 2, 2021 at 4:46 pm #200077Sounds absolutely awful, I’m afraid we we are on track for the National League.
Listening to the prawn on hullberside after the Walsall game didn’t inspire any confidence and I doubt we will see any new players.January 2, 2021 at 4:51 pm #200078Well this match is rubbish…we look devoid of leaders and creativity. Perhaps the worst squad in recent years (and that’s some achievement).!
January 2, 2021 at 4:54 pm #200079This is the kind of match we should be winning. Big shame!
UTI
January 2, 2021 at 4:57 pm #200080Cordner doing his best 2018 Rory Mcardle impression there.
We are in serious trouble unless we make a couple of signings in January. A striker is a priority.
I’d even look For another centre back for cover as Bedeau and cordner are woeful.
Totally dejecting performance and it’s incredible how far we have fallen in the space of 2 years.
Sort it out Swann
January 2, 2021 at 4:58 pm #200081Absolute disgraceful dead certs for relegation and Swann will blame Covid, well guess what it has been the same for all teams, it just that we have been run worse than a pub team.
It’s hard to believe how far we have deteriorated as a club since the championship days.January 2, 2021 at 5:04 pm #200082We are absolute dog shit! We have a goalkeeper who can’t even stick out his arm to attempt a save, fullbacks that can’t stop crosses, centre backs that can’t tackle, midfielders that can’t sttring two passes together, wingers that can’t cross and a striker who is one of the worst footballers I’ve ever seen in professional football! The only way is down with this lot.
January 2, 2021 at 5:05 pm #200083I am pretty sure that it was Cordner who did not come out to allow an unchallenged header for their first.
It was definitely Cordner for their third.
Does he learn anything?A decent enough display at Walsall but today – he was not not good enough. Again.
We have to wait a month to get some real CBs back?
Get a good CB on a two month loan before the next game. URGENT!Without the above, we’d have had a draw – daft as it may seem.
January 2, 2021 at 5:21 pm #200085Cordner and Loft were beyond abysmal today. Eisa don’t know what’s happened to him. Someone ask McAtee to name all these clubs lining up to sign him.
Bedeau Beestin Green ineffectual, Clarke really poor game. all in all really bad against a pretty poor team.
I don’t agree with Bishop – we do not have enough to survive the drop, relying on players who may be back end of February is not going to fix the shit Swann has got us into
January 2, 2021 at 5:27 pm #200087Don’t panic, 25 cup finals remaining.
January 2, 2021 at 5:30 pm #200088Need to move players on to release cash for new players apparently, who on earth would want any of our crap.
I thought Cox is starting to sound like a beaten man in his aftermatch interview.January 2, 2021 at 6:48 pm #200101Cox is a beaten man and needs to go
January 2, 2021 at 7:49 pm #200108I expected a lot more from Mark Lillis with all his experience. I have not seen todays game, sounds grim.
January 2, 2021 at 7:58 pm #200112Oh yes let’s have a new manager. Not.
January 2, 2021 at 8:15 pm #200118Back to the consistency issue. Enough of the ‘1 good game in 5’ boys coincided on Tuesday but were back to NL level today. Either we get a some better players in (or fit) this month (unlikely) or it’ll be another few games before we get any more points.
January 2, 2021 at 8:42 pm #200121If – by some freak chance we get our injured players back – we’ll be nowhere near the drop.
January 2, 2021 at 9:47 pm #200122Has anyone else noticed we are entering that part of the season when we always go 12 games or so without a win? Even when we have decent team.
January 2, 2021 at 9:52 pm #200123Les, we’re relying on crocked players to become uncrocked to the end of the season and to play to their potential with a pretty poor manager.
Cox is bad but we won’t get anybody else in at this stage now.
We’re in for a rough ride to the end of season and I fear the worst
January 3, 2021 at 10:48 am #200138I do understand why you might think that, IA.
Just looked long and hard at vids of goals conceded, yesterday. Cordner was only partly responsible for their first – it was principally Bedeau who should have at least attempted to stop the free header.
We might also ask questions as to what the skipper was doing in the runup to that goal.Hard to blame the GK too much. Few would have saved their 1st and 2nd but he had some chance with the 3rd.
January 3, 2021 at 1:36 pm #200155Yes 3 of the back 4 were to blame for the goals, I fear Clarke is dropping to poor levels rather than bringing the other players up and I would say the string of injuries he has suffered have taken more than a yard of pace off him. He looks a shadow of former self. Shame because I like the bloke and on his day he was the best in division, that was 2/3 years ago and fully fit!
One thing that always comes up Cox uses the excuse that the guys aren’t good enough because they play U23’s football – so what exactly is the masterplan behind the U23’s? Struggling to see the merits in the model
January 3, 2021 at 2:45 pm #200159Isn’t the under 23s classed as the reserves Ironawe? All sides used to have a reserve team until Keegan disbanded Newcastle’s, said it was his worst managerial mistake, I disagree (obviously) buying Tino Asprilla was his worst imo it upset the dynamics of the team when they were flying. Don’t think we can upset the dynamics of our team if we bring someone in during transfer window.
January 3, 2021 at 2:54 pm #200160Ah so you’re a closet Mag! That explains a lot.
January 3, 2021 at 6:30 pm #200172Sorry no mags in my closet NI, did go to sheff utd once to support them(if you know what I mean) fantastic lads we met up with, once they knew we were supporting Newcastle, they said we had a strange accent cheeky bugger’s.
