How do you see today’s game going?
Score predictions?
Attendance predictions?
9/2 to win against the third worst team in the league!
Today’s team selection could be interesting – time to throw on all the kids?
0-2
1,875April 18, 2022 at 8:21 am #235918Not much point playing Hackney, Matheson, Sinclair, Burns or Pyke from here on in.
Or Delaney unless Keith is planning to give him a deal for next season.
If Watson is going probably time to have a look at Collins.
Let’s see what Wilson and Poulter can do up front. Can’t be any less of a goal threat than anything else we have seen this season.

Topics: 100I’d agree. Play all the best promising youngsters.
At least they will run their legs off and work up a sweat.
Have we any pace amongst the young forwards?
You know what they say – speed kills!April 18, 2022 at 9:10 am #235922Not too much emphasis on youth but how about:-
Watson
Rowe Gallimore Delaney O’Malley
Wilson Feeney Grant Lewis
Beestin NuttallWith some of Young, Poulter, Moore-Billam, Cribb to get some game time. Selection subject to fitness of course.

April 18, 2022 at 10:44 am #235930We’ve nothing to play for so the lads can go out without the weight of expectation on their shoulders.
Stevenage are not mathematically safe by a long chalk. So it depends how their manager sets them up.
They could give us a real six of the best spanking, or it could finish a cautious 0-0.
We could even nick a win ourselves. An interesting one right enough.

April 18, 2022 at 10:59 am #235932I think the lad who just signed pro terms is in goal today. Cannot be any worse than Watson. Can’t be many goalkeepers that have conceded as many as him over a five year period.

April 18, 2022 at 11:00 am #235933We really need to go all out to send down any team managed by the odious Evans.

Have we not got a senior player who could take over from Beestin? Something not right with him.
April 18, 2022 at 11:48 am #235938This is what it has come to. Pity all those turning up to pay up to £26 for a Category A match (yes you read right, this match is Category A) to watch the kind of team being banded about on here. I’ve got a season ticket but don’t fancy wasting another afternoon watching Scunny youth team get hammered anything up to 5 with our usual 0.

Absolutely agree, he’s been well off the pace. Hill clearly doesn’t fancy Hallam, Bunn, Jarvis or KDT but, as I think Hallam is contracted for next season, he could give him a go.

April 18, 2022 at 12:55 pm #2359433-0 and a crowd of 2345 are you offering a prize Renée?
April 18, 2022 at 12:58 pm #235944Is that 3 0 to Scunny Awaywego ? If that’s the score then I will get you half a dozen pints in the Iron bar before the first home game of next season.
April 18, 2022 at 1:11 pm #2359461-2 scoreline
2772 crowd

Zero members of the SwannsCome on the class of 22 prove us wrong.

Because as we all know the goals conceded is a great measure of a goalkeeper’s ability.
April 18, 2022 at 2:29 pm #235949Did 3-0 against Mansfield and got odds of 110/1 frc, the bookies are on to me now and we’re only offering 80/1 today.
April 18, 2022 at 2:49 pm #235951Watson between the sticks, Foster on the bench.
Not too far off ‘tash’s lineup actually.
April 18, 2022 at 2:52 pm #2359530-2 Stevenage tow in.
Crowd 1450.
April 18, 2022 at 6:22 pm #235973A very decent performance from Rory today.
Matheson did the business and Feeney had some awesome moments.
All the youngsters are getting better, game on game. So many of them developing.
Let’s hear for Bunn and Hallam – great goal and decent assist.2 users thanked author for this post.
April 18, 2022 at 6:41 pm #235975Very disappointing result if any team deserved to get in the record books for most defeats on the bounce it was this one, though they are still in with a chance of most games without a win record, even though I’m going to the next 2 games I’ll be happy to see them loose both to achieve it, anything else including today is to little to late. Wouldn’t mind them beating the record defeat as well Orient wouldn’t have been far off if not for the woodwork.

Topics: 11April 18, 2022 at 7:00 pm #235979I was particularly impressed Moore-billam, look composed on the ball and always picked out a claret top with pass. Gallimore impressed more than I’ve seen in recent performances too.
It was a performance with at least some fight and character- refreshing to see a well worked goal too. But In reality, Stevenage were a poor side whom still should’ve stuck 4 past us.
Don’t mind seeing 1 or 2 of these young uns playing next year, but if that is going to be the nucleus of the side than we are going to be bang in trouble again.

April 18, 2022 at 7:10 pm #235981It made a difference bringing Hallam and Bunn on, should probably have left Nuttall on as well and possibly could have won it, youngsters did well but I think we are starting too many, supporters have had enough of losing every game and I thought the goal was worthy of us getting a battling point.
Also praise for Rory today after some poor performances he made some good saves today, Matheson played well today and made one good clearance of the line.April 18, 2022 at 7:50 pm #235985Can’t you read Uti,I did explain why.
April 18, 2022 at 7:50 pm #235986From KH post match:-
“Keith Hill then reflected on Harry Bunn’s equaliser, saying: “He’s an exceptional professional, and he’s someone I’ve got a lot of time for because he’s the right type of character and person. He can guide the young players and I’m really pleased for him.”A bizarre statememt considering he’s not let him on the pitch for several weeks. Bound to get another contract then based on that opinion.

April 18, 2022 at 8:12 pm #235987Just shows he’s not that well thought of by Hill, he didn’t call him Bunny, unlike Cam, Fin, and not to forget youngy.
April 23, 2022 at 10:09 pm #236312Why would you want this team to lose? It is practically a team of young lads that shouldn’t be playing as many games as they currently are.
Rowe, Young, Wilson, Gallimore, Moore-Billam, Lewis did well today. 5 academy graduates too.
Sorry but Young was shocking against Stevenage!!
Yes he’s young and he’s a CB playing out of position but his passing was all over the place, barely got stuck in and for a guy his size couldn’t win a header.
