    Good points guys .. The Scunthorpe United FC Museum with a section within The John Staff Collection would be a great way to keep his memory at the club.

    I am sure Michelle and the board will do something. I believe he said he had followed the club since he was 10, sadly we know he passed aged 75, therefore John the club historian is part of the history of the club which is approaching 125 years old.

    Great fella, was part of my initiation into all things SUFC via away trips in the early 80’s aged 14 and being ‘looked after’ by him, Gosser and Jerry. Some great memories and stories to tell there ! Been a mate ever since and I am Still going now 40 years later.
