On the south bank of the river there was a row of Port tasting shops, have the Port with the cod cake.
October 16, 2024 at 8:43 pm #292033And talking of being critical of the club.
Another little offer from them “Beat the Budget” (non league football competition) do they really have to try and sell us everything.
That’s broadband a signed photo “From the Club” and now this.
A lot of non league clubs do this themselves ya know a proper Beat the budget run by the club or supporters and not some grubby looking scheme imo with the club just making a quick buck for doing next to nothing.
Kirby hoover, timeshare anyone!October 16, 2024 at 8:48 pm #292034Think I’ve already mentioned it to you months ago but Those boost the budgets are initiatives from primarily fan owned clubs such as Darlo and Chester- we are not.
October 17, 2024 at 11:24 am #292050And neither where our friends down the M 180.
Not really about that anyway more the club being prepared to promote anything no matter what.October 17, 2024 at 12:09 pm #292051Have you thought about offering your services to the club awaywego? Sounds like they could benefit from your strategic management skills.
October 17, 2024 at 1:32 pm #292053Im sure the club could benefit from my services just someone to help them reflect on before they accept or offer everything, perhaps they’ll head hunt me.
Bit like the labour party needing someone to reflect on what their putting out and the look it gives.
Won’t do it without renumeration though they are a business after all.October 17, 2024 at 2:18 pm #292054I’m sure they’d benefit from your proof reading skills.

October 18, 2024 at 5:20 pm #292097Good idea, I did the Porto tour just recently £15 with museum and ground tour, museum was amazing and the tour of the stadium sitting in Presidents box, and the manager dugout, chance for picture with Champions League/Europa League trophy. Scunny could do similar, just swap out CL for Lincolnshire Cup,

Which port house tasting was the best in Gaia?Taylor’s.
October 18, 2024 at 8:28 pm #292106Love a drop of 10 year old Taylors Tawny port, preferably with stilton and crackers.
October 18, 2024 at 8:32 pm #292108“crackers” – AWG a mate of yours then?

Based on what he says, he is wasted when he posts!!
January 19, 2025 at 2:27 pm #297429Checked out Stu’s X feed… Even more interesting is his requests for ‘nudeys’ to several scantily clad Asian girls. Who’d have thought, the dark horse! Particularly liked the one where, in response to ‘send hi for nudes’ he replies with ‘hi, up the iron’ made me chuckle.
IFA you might want to rethink those match worn underkecks!
Doesn’t look like a message showing concern for SM’s Social Media activities. More like you enjoyed it.
Did you inform SST, Deerey or 64 at this point?
January 19, 2025 at 2:28 pm #297430Yeah, but he doesn’t get to play the hero if he admitted it was less of a concern and more of a joke to laugh along with.
January 19, 2025 at 2:28 pm #297431why would he,twitter is not our problem?

January 19, 2025 at 2:32 pm #297432Thanks for that CMC. I couldn’t remember where or when it was posted so big help.
Correct hence I’m not jumping on the Stu’s a predator bandwagon. Unsavoury perhaps but not the extreme it’s being made out to be. I haven’t changed my stance particularly, unlike some.January 19, 2025 at 2:39 pm #297434I’m not calling him a predator, I am thinking it’s hilarious and amusing when he attacked others recently in his holier than thou way.It also shut him up

I haven’t changed my stance particularly, unlike some.On the other thread you’re bemoaning the unsavoury nature of it as being chalked down as social media naivety. The first paragraph of that post could easily be interpreted as you bemoaning others for not taking such concerns seriously when your concerns were just you laughing along with him. You’re still using one person’s comments to represent many who have spoken about this nature of him.
And, no, it may not be in the realms of Jimmy Saville, but it is sleazy. That sticks in the craw when he was being so self-righteous, which is why it exploded then and not when you shared it while he wasn’t stirring the pot.

January 19, 2025 at 4:55 pm #297457In a nutshell Siderite. Ridiculous that this is being twisted in such a fashion. As you stated on the other thread, I’ve barely posted about this whole situation. Plenty of others have had plenty more to say about it mind. Fair enough. It’s a discussion board.
