March 10, 2024 at 8:04 am #282575Spennymoor 2-1 Darlington
Attendance: 2428March 10, 2024 at 9:13 am #282576They have a performance like BS in them, just like they have a performance like Darlington in them. This doesn’t mean Dean gets forgiven for the set up. We won’t face another team like BS other than, maybe Gloucester on the final day when they’re already down. It’s challenges like Spennymoor which interest me and how they set up and play against a form team – of which we will no doubt face in the playoffs.

1 point separates the 2nd and 3rd placed teams.
Tuesday evening will see Chorley a mere 21 miles (as the crow flys) up the road at South Shields.
25 miles by road.March 10, 2024 at 12:05 pm #282596Well Fin Shrimpton has settled in well there. Created goal, scored a goal and now got a MOM against Darlington.
March 10, 2024 at 1:18 pm #282597Big fight on the A1 then.
March 10, 2024 at 4:19 pm #282600Only two days away for TV – it’s usually bookable by now.
Odd. Shall try on my wife’s laptop tomorrow.March 10, 2024 at 4:45 pm #282601Lad’s doing well.
Demonstrating that he’s more than good enough for this level – just as Pugh has done elsewhere.
Both probably just need to feel wanted, needed & loved.March 10, 2024 at 7:17 pm #282605Manager of the Month (February)
March 10, 2024 at 8:31 pm #282608Well Fin Shrimpton has settled in well there. Created goal, scored a goal and now got a MOM against Darlington.
It just goes to show just how over skilled this squad is for this level of football. The fringe players of ours go out and dominate games for other sides.
It begs the question what a top manager at this level would have done with this group.

Odd formation, tactics of keep the ball at all costs, rarely pass forward and square pegs in some square holes. Scrap that and a winning run is on the cards.

March 10, 2024 at 9:10 pm #282610I’m not optimistic for Tuesday at all. Hope Dean and the players make it unfounded.

Same here DM …unlike on the fans facebook page at least here one can post this without being targeted and tagged a non believer and have a month off.
Here was me thinking its a free country alas it seems remotely negative common sense opinions and comments are frowned upon especially by Mr “go Jerry go ” Mahoney.
Im busy next coupla days ..so an early prediction for Spennymoor is a totally different from BS and going for a score draw.
March 11, 2024 at 7:12 am #282613I’ve got no VPN.
Under ‘Packages’ I’m still getting “No packages available in your country” for tomorrow.
Never previously had a problem.
I tried switching browser – same result.
Anyone help?March 11, 2024 at 8:14 am #282614I’m not optimistic for Tuesday at all. Hope Dean and the players make it unfounded.

I saw he’d reappeared on here, same as Brad Guest sometimes.
Seems a few youngsters booing the team off at Darlo – with maybe a few expletives – has been spun by some into our fans causing major disorder.
Ah well, they won’t worry. Their legacy to their Grandchildren will be NPL Football when Jimmy’s man on the board gets him a new contract(They saw Championship football don’t you know)
Anyone going up, Spenny is one of those “Eye opener” places!
March 11, 2024 at 9:34 am #282617The fans were quite right to vent their anger at the players after the Darlo fiasco but let’s be right it wasn’t just youngsters giving them verbal.

March 11, 2024 at 1:41 pm #282635Not just happened at the Darlo game either, they got the same treatment after the Curzon game and well deserved again, the more that do it after a piss poor performance the more the players and management will realize its not acceptable.
