Pre match in here please
December 12, 2020 at 12:15 pm #198950Just hoping for another good performance. No bragging rights up for grabs this weekend.
December 12, 2020 at 2:10 pm #198959Looks like the strongest team we could put out under the circumstances.
December 12, 2020 at 2:19 pm #198960Think Southend have only scored 6 goals in 15 games…we like giving out early Xmas presents so 2-0 to Southend!
December 12, 2020 at 2:35 pm #198962Aye, wouldn’t be surprised!
Looks like the best possible lineup given the absence of Clarke and McGahey.
Attack them like we did the other Essex boys is all I ask.
December 12, 2020 at 2:55 pm #198965A win. Don’t care how, just do it.
December 12, 2020 at 4:27 pm #198967What a awful game.
December 12, 2020 at 4:32 pm #198968Absolute rubbish so far, don’t think we’ve had a single shot on target against the worst team in English football!
December 12, 2020 at 4:46 pm #1989701 step forward 2 back.
Bench is woeful
Sarfend are dog mess.
December 12, 2020 at 4:56 pm #198972I’ll correct my last post…Scunthorpe United are the worst team in English football.
December 12, 2020 at 4:56 pm #198973It says a lot for us then.
December 12, 2020 at 5:00 pm #198974That was utterly dreadful.
December 12, 2020 at 5:02 pm #198975What a fekking disgrace.
December 12, 2020 at 5:03 pm #198976Lose a couple of players and we are back to the early season. Might as well stick us lot on the bench for what it offers.
Why don’t they ever mix it up with Eisa on the right. We are so predictable well not today!!
December 12, 2020 at 5:04 pm #198977If they were dog mess – what were we?
To be fair, I reckon that two games a week for long periods left us leggy and drained.
A bit unlucky that they got the opportunity to cross but who gave the forward the space, might we ask? Three, maybe even two steps forward instead of standing around and the shot would have been blocked.
I really thought we should have had two penalties in the match: first was immediately after the shot onto the post and I could have sworn that the ball was also handled according to the current rules.
BUT – we actually deserved what we got.
There were four players, who for me, had their worst game of the season.December 12, 2020 at 5:13 pm #198979Absolutely terrible,no urgency no will to win,no closing the opposition down, like it or not that was not good enough,Southend looked woeful but we were as bad,I am perplexed, seemed to have to many just going through the motions
December 12, 2020 at 5:13 pm #198980Not even a good performance then.
December 12, 2020 at 5:23 pm #198981Cannot believe we had no shots on target, no shots on target!!!
Against the worst team. This is diabolical it really is. No striking options – Loft not good enough consistently, Jarvis – just give up football please.
Eisa looked garbage Gillead looked to be carrying a knock, Green ineffective. What did Cox say to them at half time for them to come out and not give a shit?
December 12, 2020 at 5:25 pm #198982Not a shot on target against the worst professional team in the country, impressive stuff.
December 12, 2020 at 5:28 pm #198983What absolout garbage. Everyone involved today comes out of that with 0 credit.
Beaten by the worst team we’ve played in years without even threatening them other than a 30 yard effort.
No effort, no ability, nothing.
Back to the way we looked at the start of the season.
Shit.
Last week we were robbed this week we rolled over and let them take what they wanted.
December 12, 2020 at 5:34 pm #198985I’ve gone back into the we won’t win another game this season mode.
December 12, 2020 at 5:46 pm #198986This club makes a habit of getting your hopes up and then kicking you in the cock
December 12, 2020 at 5:53 pm #198987Apart from Clarke (rested today) Howard and Onariaise, we are now back to the squad that was available earlier in the season – and we all know how that went.
December 12, 2020 at 6:03 pm #198988I’d love to be in the dressing room at ht to see what our motivational management team are saying because it’s got to be something pretty unmotivating.
After feeling quite positive a week ago I fear the worst, Cox seems quite clueless.December 12, 2020 at 6:08 pm #198990Cox said he had a go at them at half time. Obviously took a lot of notice !
December 12, 2020 at 10:32 pm #199003Cox said he had a go at them at half time. Obviously took a lot of notice !
Or maybe they did?
Maybe, like so many these days, they are all snowflakes and took the hump?December 13, 2020 at 9:51 am #199008Can anyone tell me what eisa, green, Jarvis and macatee bring to the team at the minute?
Eisa: is sulking after a none appearing transfer
Macatee: see above
Green: been here a nearly a year clearly not good enough
Jarvis: not seen much but don’t think he is goodDecember 13, 2020 at 11:48 am #199015If Eisa & McAttee are wanting a big money move, then they’re going the wrong way about showcasing their skills.
I’ve never seen a player who runs hot and cold as much as Eisa. He makes Hakeeb look like Mr Consistency!
Jarvis does look no better than National League standard but I think there’s a player in Devarn Green, but he needs a run of games in the same position.
Too many other unknown quantities also. Hippolyte, Mooney, Dunwald-Turan (I’d even add Taylor to that).
Catch-22. When Cox can field his best players we look okay. But through no fault of his own he can’t and the second string don’t look good enough.
December 13, 2020 at 1:06 pm #199020“He makes Hakeeb look like Mr Consistency!”
A step too far, NI!December 13, 2020 at 2:29 pm #199028When Mr Cox put the 3 starters on the bench for Colchester he was targeting the ‘certain’ 3 points from the Southend game !!
It doesn’t work !! So we got 0 from 6 and the common denominator – The Manager. Yet the players are to blame not him ! It his team.
