Southend bond

National League require a £1 million pound bond off them to start the season.
Being more than fair with them over the last 2 seasons imo now is the time to get things finally sorted, owners and interested parties need to pull their finger out and get the deal over the line.
In court on Thursday i believe with the winding up petition from the clubs Solicitors over a £500,000 debt representing them for all the other winding up orders laughable if wasn’t so serious.

I hope they come out the other side, but can’t for the life of me believe they’re going to get the needed £1.5 mill.

The winding up petition was avoided the owner seems to have found some more money to pay his solicitors bill.
So that’s one positive for them.

Standard tactic from Ron Martin over the last few years, pay every bill until the last minute.
Hopefully they come through it, they’ve been through the wringer and then some.
