Anyone off to Roots Hall? Always enjoyed a visit. Prediction 3-1 home win.
October 21, 2022 at 11:25 am #247206Might go to Wealdstone… Just so I can say, “Come on then, you want some?” and “Shit ground, you got no fans”

October 21, 2022 at 12:09 pm #247211Daws says the players have trained really hard, then said we can’t win every game, even the top Premier League lose occasionally, but he didn’t say you could win some occasionally.

October 21, 2022 at 12:34 pm #247212It’s not panic stations yet but with 4 going down you can soon be cut off; worryingly I actually think we are in a good form patch too and still not picking up wins.

October 21, 2022 at 1:05 pm #247213Rowe was limping badly last Saturday and Ntlhe for me was MOTM.
Definitely need Butters and Rapter back though.
October 21, 2022 at 3:19 pm #247220Any chance of a 4-4-2 do you think?
October 21, 2022 at 3:34 pm #247223Any chance of a win would be better Cass

October 21, 2022 at 3:38 pm #247224I think I’m right in saying Daws has played 4 at the back twice and they are the 2 games he has lost.
I think we play 3 centre backs often because we don’t have the confidence in any 2 of them.
I would prefer to stick with 2 and put a defensive midfield in front of them. Rowe, Pugh or Gallimore could do that job.
Always feel playing 3 at our level allows them to shirk responsibility for covering their man. I’m convinced we allow more free headers in the box when we play with 3.
October 21, 2022 at 5:41 pm #247226Whilst ever Dewhurst is in goal I don’t fancy us for a win.

Would like to think they trained really hard every week. Daws ain’t the answer, never unearthed any gems in the youth squad. Why we insist on ex iron players being in the fold.
Great cheap option to appoint within.
Anybody for a part time iron next season? Even if we managed to stay in the NL?
Oh and a spanking on the cards tomorrow. Wonder the odds are for a goal against within first 10mins.1 user thanked author for this post.
October 21, 2022 at 11:07 pm #247247Daws was what was left at the back of the cupboard once Old Mother Hubbard had buggered off.
There by circumstance not design.
October 22, 2022 at 6:31 am #247249my heart says away win 2-1
my head says home win 2-0
so probably be another draw .. 1-1ALL the fixtures in the NL are nasty but a particularly nastier than nasty few against richer clubs fancied to go up adds more importance to this game .. whilst it remains very tight at the moment and a string of wins could see any team go mid to upper table in the blink of an eye the flip side being losses or draws and we could find ourselves cut loose in the the bottom 2 or 3 in the next 4 weeks .. Im kinda preparing my self for NLN which is a distinct possibly .. as is being raped n folded by our illustrious chairman as he rides off into the Blackpool sunset.
October 22, 2022 at 2:42 pm #247255Nuttall up front on his own.
Bizarre tactics to try and Wilcox a 0-0 with our defensive record.
October 22, 2022 at 3:44 pm #247256Looking like another complete Fonguck down at Southend.
October 22, 2022 at 3:46 pm #247257Wish daws would admit he has no idea what he is doing. Formations and positioning of players makes no sense whatsoever. Our defenders are awful so we play with 5 of them, none of dawses decisions ever make any sense whatsoever
Lee hodges has seen us play for half a game and has pretty much nailed all our problems and yet our manager does nothing about itOctober 22, 2022 at 3:47 pm #247258Forward line & midfield absolutely non existent as per usual
October 22, 2022 at 3:57 pm #247259Reassuring to hear that Hodges and the commentator have no idea what formation we play too.
October 22, 2022 at 3:58 pm #247260Following Scunthorpe is deflating, 6 wins in 59 and a half games and sounds like we were playing for a draw isn’t good enough, why aren’t they told to go out and give it a real go.

October 22, 2022 at 3:58 pm #247261“They look like they don’t have a clue!” Ollie.
Lee Hodges seems shocked by the fare on offer!October 22, 2022 at 4:08 pm #247262Butterfield .. dear oh dear
October 22, 2022 at 4:11 pm #247263Am turning the commentary off.
Have a nice afternoon.
This is the only thing I can do to help. If I don’t listen they’ll probably play well just to spite me.October 22, 2022 at 4:21 pm #247264C R A P
October 22, 2022 at 4:30 pm #247265Going down again without a whimper.
Glad I don’t have this fiasco on my CV
October 22, 2022 at 4:32 pm #247266Absolute garbage
October 22, 2022 at 4:33 pm #247267Totally agree, we are in serious trouble. Really can not see how we will get enough wins to stay up. Only one man to blame for this.

October 22, 2022 at 4:35 pm #247269Soon we will be watching AFC Scunthorpe at Quibell Park stadium.

October 22, 2022 at 4:56 pm #247271The days of super Lee Hodges are LONG LONG gone and I suspect, sadly, will never return. Tragic.
October 22, 2022 at 4:59 pm #247272Here we go again, cox, hill, now daws apparently we trained really well this week,so what!,talk is cheap ,matchday is the place to do your good work ,not training f.f.s

October 22, 2022 at 5:04 pm #247273I know this gets said when we’re in the mire, often to ridicule but think we could do with someone like Laws back in again. At knows & cares about the club, whilst certainly having plenty of passion he can instil into the players. No poor result is a shock anymore and gap beginning to open up. Desperate times now and more to come
