FFS. Disproportionate is an understatement. Petty for sure.

March 28, 2025 at 8:35 pm #301101Childish and sour grape behavior from the club.
They’re the ones who shit on him in the first place and they take that attitude because their shitty deal fell through.
New owners please.March 28, 2025 at 8:37 pm #301102Is the club going out of its way to rile everyone up?

March 28, 2025 at 8:42 pm #301108There must be a conciliatory way to sort matters out. Losing fans, income and goodwill is not the way forward unless in extreme circumstances.
March 28, 2025 at 8:43 pm #301109Do any of you know what he’s done?
March 28, 2025 at 9:05 pm #301114Surly Zanetti should be receiving a banning letter to after his ‘performance’ last Saturday?

March 28, 2025 at 9:18 pm #301117I suspect this has everything to do with him leaking their deal with FC100000. No doubt if it wasn’t for him leaking it first, Aidan McCartney wouldn’t have got wind of it and he wouldn’t have gone sniffing around.
In my opinion they are pissed off because the deal collapsed and Mr Goat played a huge part in it. I know Michelle and co saved the club, but as everyday passes I find my self liking them less and less.
March 28, 2025 at 9:21 pm #301118C word awaywego .
I’d have banned him, from what I’ve read and other things I’ve heard.Hed ban people from his own establishment for the same .Ridiculous timing though, knowing his propensity for Twittering grievance. If he was in on the FC 1000 etc, he’s broken a confidence too.All would see him sacked from. Any job and VC asked to stay away from the premises.
This isn’t unusual or out of order The SUFC PR machine has lost controlMarch 28, 2025 at 9:23 pm #301120I suspect this has everything to do with him leaking their deal with FC100000. It would have come out regardless. Athletic article, rumours of their people being at the stadium on Saturday. People aren’t stupid.

March 28, 2025 at 9:28 pm #301122It would have come out regardless, I agree. The deal would have more than likely gone through first though. Mr Goat did leak the deal a week or two ago and that’s what started the murmurings. Before The Goat leaked it on twitter everybody “including me” thought it was dead, as stated in the interview with Sharp and co.
March 28, 2025 at 9:31 pm #301123There’s no company in the world barring a political entity that would not have done this in these circumstance
March 28, 2025 at 11:26 pm #301124I can understand the contract severance in the circumstances, but a stadium ban for the individual seems extreme.

March 29, 2025 at 6:34 am #301131I thought this board would have risen above it to be honest. All the club’s focus should be on the football for the final six.

March 29, 2025 at 7:04 am #301133There was nothing else they could do,he was almost daring them to do it.
He broke confidences then got into rows on club premises on Monday with senior staff. As I said above ,he had to be banned .
Any company that has a social media policy would do the same.To claim otherwise is mischief making.
It could be said that in the last few days it’s the only thing they’ve done right off the pitch publicly .1 user thanked author for this post.

March 29, 2025 at 7:48 am #301137Yep
March 29, 2025 at 7:58 am #301138No doubt from a legal point if they don’t want him there he has to be told in writing and I would imagine the new stadium guy, Hopper, is doing that so he can then call on Humbersides finest to help remove Mr Goat as a trespasser.
It just doesn’t sit right banning people unless there’s a threat of actual physical violence or damage – if that is the case then fair enough but if not, what are they worried about if they are right and he is wrong ?
Also I agree with Rene, ban that Zanetti clown by the same token.2 users thanked author for this post.

March 29, 2025 at 9:01 am #301141If it had been employer v employee Danny would have wiped the floor with them at a tribunal on a constructive dismissal case over the community day shite he had to take.
Trust, respect, and professionalism work both ways, club totally lacking all 3 and have gone on to show it sending the letter, the deal was dead and they could just have left it alone.Frightening to see how pissed off the club are at the deal not going through, even to the extent now of not wanting to speak to recognized groups.
Maybe they would have got the fans they did want with Fc 100,000.March 29, 2025 at 9:03 am #301142Yep

Oh aye, I wouldn’t go any way near as far as demanding his reinstatement or anything like that. Wasn’t aware he’d been kicking off at the venue on Monday either. In light of that, I can understand the ban more.
March 29, 2025 at 9:12 am #301144There’s two sides to every story and the fans are only privy to the side that Stamp is releasing.
For the avoidance of doubt I would be more than happy to see the backs of two of the owners, it seems it’s these two that Stamp has had “words” with, not pleasant words either.
Is a stadium ban justified?
IMO, no it isn’t but the club has form for this type of behaviour, I suspect Stamps name may be chanted from the DRE today.March 29, 2025 at 9:17 am #301145Wonder if he was pulled up about his shouty sweary incident at Kiddie last week too? Club officials must have been thinking it wasn’t a good look from a catering manager to have the game temporarily stopped due to a player complaining about his ranting abuse?

Be almost as cringy as “there’s only one Dave Hilton chants” suggested by the Facebook group.
Poor decision by the club banning from the ground and sets a precedent. However, they knew what they were getting when they re-hired him, was a strange decision at the time and it’s come back to bite them.
