Applications being invited for……
Directors.
A new chef.
Safety Stewards.
All must be willing to relocate around 20 miles away on match days.August 4, 2023 at 4:44 am #268196SNOT this throwing of tit bits isnt helping …. if you are able to confirm anything please enlighten us to the exact detail surrounding the previous post … have you received solid info re moving out of GP ? to Gainsboro ? .. all very ominous and potentially a disaster which no doubt will destroy the fan base and any real optimism for the coming season.
worrying times.
August 4, 2023 at 4:57 am #268198I know you’re in a different time zone but you should stay up today and keep an eye out for the news to come out from the club.
One thing that is common knowledge now is that the S.A.G.have slapped a 2000 capacity cap on GP for the coming season, although that won’t matter as we no longer have any stewards.August 4, 2023 at 5:26 am #268199I know you’re in a different time zone but you should stay up today and keep an eye out for the news to come out from the club.

When will shit end .. being in limbo and all this uncertainty is very depressing wouldnt it be great to just have a “normal” situation at the club where its the football that makes all the headlines.
Thanks again snot .
August 4, 2023 at 5:32 am #268200There was a National league meeting yesterday, I suspect the club were high on the agenda.
August 4, 2023 at 6:16 am #268201Obviously at the moment this doesnt effect me but I would very much hope the club will make any necessary announcements promptly and keep fans updated with regard to serious developments like the ones you mention.
August 4, 2023 at 6:22 am #268202What about the tickets pre sold for Peterboro at home … ST holders plus sales over 2k already ??

A new chef.
It would seem that we need more than a Chef to deliver the recipe of success at the club?
We need a necromancer with supernatural powers.
“Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the caldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder’s fork and blind-worm’s sting,
Lizard’s leg and howlet’s wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Cool it with a baboon’s blood,
Then the charm is firm and good.”MacB – Bill Shaky

What sort of Mickey Mouse operation has it become? Embarassing.
August 4, 2023 at 7:34 am #268207With all due respect Deereyme, the above info came out late yesterday, 64 started a thread, it was cryptic but not so cryptic if you knew what was behind it.
I fear the attendance cap at GP will only be a minor issue compared to more news to emerge.2 users thanked author for this post.

August 4, 2023 at 7:42 am #268210My point is snot, that the club should be pre-empting important news like this being leaked, circulated amongst a handful of fans and get ahead of the game. Avert potential PR disasters.

August 4, 2023 at 7:48 am #268211I fear public relations are not uppermost in our current leaders mind.
He only interacts with the cult of Dave on Facebook with those who worship him, whilst on another platform burner accounts using his name are making outrageous false claims directed at any supporter who dares to question what’s going on at the club.1 user thanked author for this post.
August 4, 2023 at 8:01 am #268214I’m also aware that this point is pretty small fry in relation to what’s incoming today.

Agreed very unprofessional by SUFC whom seem to prefer festering rumours to cards on the table so fans know whats going on.
August 4, 2023 at 8:59 am #268228If he can spend time interacting with acolytes on Facebook, surely he has time to be over the general PR?
August 4, 2023 at 9:19 am #268231Why the 2,000 limit at GP?
Yes why ???? .. what is the reason.

August 4, 2023 at 9:32 am #268234Yes indeed. The posts become ever more cryptic!
Reading between the lines it sounds to me like: –
The 2000 cap has been put on because we don’t have enough safety stewards. Which is why the club is recruiting same.
But no one has applied because they have heard the news about staff not being paid.
Perhaps those ITK (or who pretend to be) can mark my work!

August 4, 2023 at 9:34 am #268235A good hypothesis, NI. Still not good enough, and cannot be blamed on Swann, Iron Bru, 1500club or others scapegoated.
August 4, 2023 at 10:30 am #268246I heard about a potential capacity cap earlier in the week, but it was initially rubbished by my source. I understand the club have since been notified that several issues must be rectified

Righteeho .. thanks for that SST .. now any idea as the the nature and severity of the issues that need rectifying ?? .. are they structural , human resources / lack of stewards?
IMO bad form if the club cannot at least keep fans updated with such serious goings on.
August 4, 2023 at 12:51 pm #268263How many times do the SAG group come round? They came round prior to the Hull game and allowed as many that wanted to enter the ground turned out to be 2414 strange don’t you think?

August 4, 2023 at 3:05 pm #268303Hate to say it but communication with the fans should be 24/7 not when it suits !

August 4, 2023 at 3:38 pm #268310yep agree … Fast approaching my bed time and also the end of the working week in Sunny Scunny and still no news or announcements , maybe no news is good news as ny gran used to say.
if only the club were as pro active in keeping fans updated as they are as with the sales of advertising for sponsors, STs , car parking , kits n merc and sourcing new directors.
Hoping not waking up to an upsetting brown stain tomorrow … on the first day of the new season i mean not the claret n blue satin sheets.
UP THE IRON EVERYONE .. dreaming of an away win and jiggly cake !!

Did you enjoy the recent Test series les? I thought it was probably the most entertaining series we have seen in recent years, certainly since 2005. Thought we might as well discuss something different for a change.

August 4, 2023 at 6:46 pm #268335Awesome stuff, IA. Bit peed off on three occasions over the 5 matches when batsmen went ape – at great cost. Unhappy with Day One declaration. Dischuffed about the weather.
Otherwise – was nearly permanently glued to the screen.August 4, 2023 at 7:03 pm #268338 -
