I’ve got to admit leaving the ground yesterday it was the first time for ages I have been totally upset about the the game, the performance after 30 minutes was embarrassing for a league club, and though we all accepted weeks ago there was no chance at least I thought there would have been a response to end the season with at least something to cheer, but no.
So when a few hours later I heard that Simon had had enough to be me it was like having a dagger stuck in me because I hoped he was going to try to get a consortium or something to take over the club, and the news of Neil Wright joining the board doesn’t seem as important now as it did a few days ago, I have no idea what went on with the Chairman and Simon but the talk of possible investors here yesterday seems unimportant to me today.
So getting the good feeling back into the club as vanished to me for the forseeable future.

March 27, 2022 at 4:46 pm #234317You never said whether you would have joined Swanny given the chance Ironawe?
Hypothetical question but who ever chooses or is chosen to be on a company board has to sign a confidentiality agreement, that will apply to Neil Wright too. Thought you might have understood that Awaywego TBH.
March 27, 2022 at 5:57 pm #234325And the answer is? Come on your not a bloody politician Ironawe.

I was a member of a number of company boards and I never signed a confidentiality agreement.

March 27, 2022 at 6:12 pm #234327Anybody want to thank Swanny for bringing Simon back on the board or introducing a fan director, both which he had no need to do. The latter being one of the government and fa recommendations to engage with Joe public.
March 27, 2022 at 6:15 pm #234328…was it a board run by a single family and would you have remained a member if you had spilled your guts about all the details that went on as Awaywego is suggesting Simon should have done when resigning 🤔
March 27, 2022 at 7:33 pm #234332I will just stick to my original post, and your lack of clarity on where you stand Ironawe I take it you wouldn’t have joined the board in the first place either.
March 27, 2022 at 8:00 pm #234334Another board member is leaving end of season apparently (non family of course) and yet another staff member.
That surely says it all about the toxicity and poison emanating from Ernest Pawn. That and his abhorrent treatment of home fans.
Simon Elliott was our greatest hope of retaining a club or even resurrecting one from the utter and complete shambles created by the ego of one Ernest Pawn.
We are not only utterly shite on and off the pitch, we are now an embarrassment on and off the pitch.

March 27, 2022 at 8:17 pm #234337Well done for seeing sense simon and thankyou for trying to give our club a glimmer of hope with your efforts. You deserve far better and i can only hope/wish that you could put a consortium together to give us our club back.

I will stick to my original legitimate response whilst reflecting on your total naivety when trying to understand it.
