Back to Spennymoor Town on loan for the rest of the season
November 15, 2024 at 12:27 pm #293880Good move for him. Needs to be playing at this stage if he is going to build a professional career.
We struggle to give our own a decent run of games and Butler seems to mistrust anyone under 25.

November 15, 2024 at 1:05 pm #293882Why the hell did we waste any of the budget on him if wasn’t going to get in the team.
November 15, 2024 at 2:03 pm #293883Tom Pugh scenario all over again. Good luck to him and he will do well because he will get game time in a sensible formation.
In the last 5 interviews the repeated line I hear is ‘people making bad choices and errors’ and yet they play again and again. Fin deserved a run of games and his enthusiasm would driven others to up their game.
But it seems as though he isn’t playing but the defeats may be his fault – don’t like that !!
November 15, 2024 at 3:03 pm #293884He did well there last season.
I hope he had another good spell and enjoys his football.
He’s a good kid!1 user thanked author for this post.
November 15, 2024 at 3:35 pm #293885Always happens at this club. For seasons upon seasons we’ve favoured other players above our own, same with Pugh, Wootton e.t.c. Rowley will be the next one to go.
Law could do with being shed too. One is he’s never fit and two, we’ve got Kelly and Denton fit. Pointless waste of a wage. According to Butler we are to sign beck before the game on Sat, so Beestin will definitely drop back to CM which will push Rowley firmly into the background.
Rowley was an odd signing.
November 15, 2024 at 3:44 pm #293886Hope Fin goes to Spennymoor and does really well like last time and earns himself a contract with them next season. We have treated him like shite IMO.

November 15, 2024 at 3:44 pm #293887Shrimpton isn’t good enough for where we want to be,he played like he was already back there the other week. Totally unprofessional.
November 15, 2024 at 3:49 pm #293888Bit harsh with the lack of consistent game time he’s received under Butler, if he’d played as much as Clunan he might have made a real impression, we shall never know now.

November 15, 2024 at 3:52 pm #293890He’s clearly not performing and standing to argue with the ref while the guy that you’re marking goes through to set up a goal is unprofessional by any standard

November 15, 2024 at 4:00 pm #293891We had three unprofessional mistakes by three separate defenders against Southport but those players get miraculously picked every game, we all see players differently and plenty of regulars this season for us have made consistent mistakes by professional standards so let’s judge all and not just one based on so few appearances. Butler clearly doesn’t fancy him end of and I’m pleased he’s getting his chance at a place he’s wanted.

November 15, 2024 at 4:15 pm #293892We’re they stood arguing with a ref or just poor defenders?
November 17, 2024 at 3:27 pm #294160First time I’ve agreed with you Fans,
“he’s a local lad”
“he would run through a wall for us”Isn’t it strange how Dean didn’t play him either and shipped him out?
November 17, 2024 at 3:29 pm #294161Could be down to the fact Dean and Butler are both as clueless as each other ?. Dean is doing poorly at this new club…surprise, surprise. I will however state we have players obviously ahead of him and the reason we’re struggling is not because we aren’t playing him.
The blame is purely laid at Butler’s door.
