What/who is it? Can we please have a credible answer to that question BEFORE agitating for Hilton out?

There is no alternative. Regardless of Dave Hilton’s past, he is all we have got, and he is not doing bad.

The usual suspects will piss and moan no matter what happens. Best to ignore…

If someone’s been proven to be a thief, I’d be reluctant to hand over the keys to my house and hope for the best if they only told me because they had to. And if I already had, I’d be worried.

We need to hope he has the funds and the will to keep us going.

We need to hope there are no repercussions from the FA and the national league.

We need to hope the latest rumours about ex players not being paid and tax being owed is fabrication.

We need to hope that Peter Swann doesn’t make us homeless.

It’s Jerry’s usual retort, he’s scared like many of losing his back door favours if Hilton and the board put the club into Adminstration and the club is ran by accountants cutting back on everything.

Ironeye is the only person I have seen to sound happy. The rest are frustrated or angry in one way or another.

One big difference.

There was a winding-up order in place and Swann was willing to stand by and watch us go bust. The only chance of not-dying was to lose Swann.

This time, there are still financial problems left over from Swann but by and large they’re improving.

If Hilton resigns today, the club needs a miracle to survive.

How anybody can claim the financial situation is improving is beyond me.
There is a similar tax bill to pay, no cash in the bank, unpaid players and pensions and then you have the small matter of backdated rent which will be due plus legal costs at some point. He has lied about so much that I cannot for one moment accept he has paid 80% of the debts. It will all come out in the wash.
