Apologies, my understanding is that football was cancelled at the SVS a few seasons ago…….

The only thing on display since then has been turgid dross!

I would think the New Year will be a tipping point, if no financial package is in place by then it could be terminal for a lot of clubs.

Most people know my stance on covid and football. But without starting a new thread where do other posters stand on that there are no mandatory tests of Efl players, for Grant McCann to refuse the offer of tests for his players from West Ham after three of their personal tested positive, shouldnt there be a duty of care to your employees, Orient did the right thing but now there chairmen said he shouldnt have started testing in the first place.

I think the Orient chairman was saying that because they’re being chucked out of the competition because they had tested their players (and had positive results) whereas he’s saying if he hadn’t tested anyone, they’d have had their game on the TV, so where’s the incentive for them to test?

Although you can go to a cinema with a bunch of complete strangers and watch live football.
The Govt has just given ‘The Arts’ £1.5 billion and The Albert Hall have proudly produced their festive itinerary. Looking forward to welcoming thousands of people to sit indoors and watch opera.
But football stands are death traps and must be avoided.

    Not a soprano in sight…

Try the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, tho’ sadly tonight’s Madama Butterfly is download only!
