With the govt shit show not knowing what to do next, basically country shutting down, all other countries slowly stopping everybody from UK flying out, all exports stopping from Dover – how viable is it to continue with the football? Tier4 no bubbles so how can Tier 4 football teams even continue? Nobody has talked about sport yet but surely its a matter of time
December 20, 2020 at 11:26 pm #199432After watching Scunthorpe Uniteds performances against Colchester, Southend and Grimsby, “The Iron have already stopped playing football”.
December 21, 2020 at 7:09 am #199443Very true, the irony of the season being cancelled after another lifeless derby day performance…….
December 21, 2020 at 11:12 am #199459Football are able to get round it conveniently elite sport classed as work, and remember Efl teams don’t have to test for covid. Also it gives the country that feel good factor lol.
December 21, 2020 at 11:33 am #199462‘ Gives the Country a feel good factor ‘ What after watching that crap on Saturday.
December 21, 2020 at 12:00 pm #199466I hardly think what we saw on Saturday could be classed as “elite sport”
The bar must be set very low, I think I could be an elite golfer.December 21, 2020 at 1:22 pm #199475When it comes to sport, authorities have no morals, all about this we must play on and not let events beat us, more like we must play on for the money and the glory, Munich 72, Heysel, Hillsborough, to name but three, and now we must play on through covid, and at what cost probably the players have been the biggest spreaders of late, and for what are we fans bothered about playing on no imo.
,December 21, 2020 at 1:30 pm #199476Why stop now ? Pantomime season is only just starting. Who do you think plays widow Twanky ?.
December 21, 2020 at 9:10 pm #199501Perhaps you right Ironawe teams are dropping like flies. Millwall, Sunderland, Ipswich and Peterborough up to now.
December 21, 2020 at 10:10 pm #199504“probably the players have been the biggest spreaders of late”
What? Are you saying Gillingham are to blame for the spread of the new Covid variant?
December 22, 2020 at 12:25 am #199509Regarding this virus, I would think that most of Scunthorpes players are too bloody slow to catch it, and I am sure that if it blows over the ground into our goal area, Howard will not get near enough to it unless it actually blows directly down the goal line.
December 22, 2020 at 10:15 am #199516Gillingham?
December 22, 2020 at 10:36 am #199518Geography?
December 22, 2020 at 11:52 am #199521We’d be lost without it. 😜
December 22, 2020 at 1:03 pm #199528Gillingham?
Amazing! I suppose it is many miles from Crosby.
December 29, 2020 at 5:11 pm #199882Shame on them, Rotherham and Barnsley due to play tonight against medical advice, because fear over a points deduction, when will people grow a set. Think you’ve got your answer Ironawe.
January 6, 2021 at 7:00 pm #200366Only took 10 months, but finally the Efl are introducing twice weekly covid tests for all teams from Monday.
