KO 7pm. They’ve lost two on the bounce. 5-0 win tonight.

As ever hope for but don’t expect a scruffy 1-0 home win.

At least we might get the chance to see Tafty and Karithecan.

Still expecting 4-1-4-1 described as 4-3-3 to pretend we have some attacking intent.

If we are still after a big n nasty tom elliott on the bench for them would be pretty good if they would let him go on loan. Wages would probably be the issue with that one though

One up top at home, and a crowded midfield.

    Should be interesting!

Not the worst half in the world and we’ve played some fairly decent stuff, not really carved out a clear cut chance yet though. Fingers crossed one bounces in off of someone’s knee/shoulder/whatever and we grind out a win.

As Newey said we showed no interest in winning that game. Cox talked himself into thinking we were playing decent team which clearly we weren’t. Play for a draw you get nothing. Howard at fault but Cox set them up not to win

What the heck goes on at the half time team talk.

Set up not to lose and all you can do is draw or lose, typically we lose.

CRAP tactics and performance again, no bite or threat at all upfront.

Clarke didn’t make sure Henderson wasn’t going to win the ball, but Howard shouldn’t have come out, another calamitous goal conceded, when will it end and we wouldn’t have scored if we played until tomorrow.
unless we start to try to win games we are going down, and another home defeat.

Two games up next against Barrow and Grimsby.

Cox on thin ice if we don’t get 6 points.

Newey summed it up by saying We had no interest in winning the game. Midfield seemed to retreat 20 yards after half time and we lost all creativity in our game.

Cox might not have lost the game- but he certainly didn’t win it for us, need to get rid of this stupid formation and start showing some initiative. A relegation dogfight is fast approaching and I wouldn’t back the resilience of this current crop of players.

    I give up.

I did manage a laugh in the second half with Loft’s shot and Cordner falling over himself but that was the only bright spot

Clarke has turned into a shit footballer

Highlights our big, and I mean BIG problems up front.

As pointed out above, could have played 180 minutes and not scored.

Henderson has often been our nemesis. Proven goal scorer. Something we don’t have to call on. Needs addressing PDQ.

striker problems to be solved by a Villa teenager who is ill equipped for a league relegation fight, can’t be worse than Loft/DT/Jarvis

You don’t win football games if you don’t make the keeper make a serious save, our home record is appalling and technically we didn’t have a bad side out tonight, but still managed to throw it away against a team who were not the best team we have played.

What a terrible goal to give away, Howard came off his goal line right to the edge of the penalty area and then took his map out because he was in unventured territy for him, the Salford guy couldn’t beleive his luck.

Get him a taxi along with that other clown Musselwight, are Billy Smarts Circus on lockdown, thats where they should be employed, they would draw the crowds in!!

Man of the Match by far was the ref who was the best that I have seen for years.

Struggle to blame Loft too much since there is rarely anyone within 20 yards of him.

The ball comes back too easily and too often but he’s usually fighting against 3 defenders as they have no one else to worry about.

    That’s Cox’s doing.

Why not stick Green up there along side Loft and have him feeding off the scraps ?

Cox said we haven’t got a viable striker to partner Loft which is why we play so conservatively. Cox is right in that sense but surely playing Green up there is better than setting the team up as he is doing.

Green’s played games upfront in his career so he knows how to play that role and he’s really quick..even when he’s played on the right he’s a willing runner and goes by people.

Not buying that excuse…no sense in having us set up like the way he has us at the minute.

Certainly the best ref this season – and by quite a margin.
A couple of duff decisions hidden amongst a great display.

Still to early for must win games Keadby, 2 draws or 1 win will stand us in good stead,it’s the lack of draws that are killing us, lost 10 games by a single goal 7 which were 1-0.

How does he know he hasn’t got anyone else to play up front, he never gives any of the forgotten or ignored a chance !
