Could you back up why you say 100 people joining the trust would be better than giving unity the money Deerey.
It now appears to be the opposite if the trust has only bought 50 shares.Excluding the Xmas party and funding away travel surely you can see the unity group are putting more money into the club than the trust.
Maybe a time for reflection on the issue by quite a few who have been bulling up the effectiveness of the trust and its shares. Cant see the power that Apollo seems to think they have or could have 50 shares aren’t going to influence the board they look pretty toothless to me.
Cant imagine me handing my £10 over to them anytime soon lol.
February 16, 2025 at 12:35 pm #299070The Iron Trust accounts for the last year show expenditure including £6000 purchases of club shares . Those accounts are dated 31.8.24, so it is quite possible that further share purchases have happened since then.
That they have not yet been properly registered is not the Trust’s fault.

February 16, 2025 at 12:42 pm #299073That doesn’t fit the contrarian narrative though.
February 16, 2025 at 12:43 pm #299074Thanks That sounds more like it SYI.
March 26, 2025 at 6:56 pm #300769Conspicuous by their absence this week. Thought Stuart Maw would have had a video out on Sunday telling us all what to think. I hope their raffle (all legal and above board of course) on the bus to the big Lincs cup final went well.

March 26, 2025 at 7:06 pm #300774Notice the Unity Group were not invited to the talks on Monday morning.
May be to busy organising the Easter Party !March 26, 2025 at 7:10 pm #300776March 26, 2025 at 10:40 pm #300836Just had a quick look at the Facebook Group page to try and answer Gurney’s question about the cost of Brad’s pie and peas and I see Jerry is making sly digs at the Trust sharing the FSA piece that quotes the Trust. Really no need for it. Says it’s just an opinion but it’s more than that. A reminder Jerry: which 3 groups were invited to the club on Monday to chat with the Board about the FC100000 saga? Smacks of bitterness.
March 26, 2025 at 11:06 pm #300841Jerry not fit to polish the Trust’s boots. He’s managed to embarrass himself and the Unity shower he represents, again. I doubt a democratically elected board run in a fit and proper manner will be much bothered by the ramblings of a bitter idiot, however. Glad to see the Trust have had another influx of members !!

He’s really spat the dummy out there. Shame.
March 27, 2025 at 6:11 am #300852How many members have the Unity Group got now. Are they into double figures yet?
March 27, 2025 at 6:47 am #300854Just a caution if you venture onto the Unity Group funding page, some half naked pictures have appeared on there.
March 27, 2025 at 9:44 am #300872300 members + according to their fundraising page.
March 27, 2025 at 1:50 pm #300894Jerry showing himself up massively…comes across as a right bitter tw@!
