Anyone else missing the scoreboard working.
I need to know how long we have to hold on to our lead for without getting my phone out my pocket all the time.
Is it getting fixed?November 14, 2021 at 4:00 pm #217917I remember it being installed and thinking we were the dogs bits for having one….happy days!
November 14, 2021 at 5:58 pm #217918Always loved the ref and his wagging finger when an onfield booking was occurring, the scoreboard is however a sign of the times in a dated stadium by modern standards and a floundering team playing there. Probably quite appropriate the old scoreboard has finally given up the ghost, perhaps it knows what’s coming at the end of the season.
November 14, 2021 at 7:08 pm #217920Super duper 60’x30′ tv screen to be unveiled at your new/revamped stadium. 😜

The exit gates appear to be working ok at the end of the game, almost as if they are saying ” get out now “.

Now Hill has arrived I’d say Hill and Watson.
November 14, 2021 at 10:25 pm #217928I’m really missing the scoreboard and I suspect many other supporters are too. Hope it’s being repaired. If not it looks as if its something else being taken away from the fans, along with the matchday programme, which I am sure is greatly missed too. Everything that Swann has done to our Club shows his total disregard for supporters.

November 15, 2021 at 9:28 am #217933Presumably the matchday programme is intended to be a money maker. If too few supporters buy a programme then it becomes a loss maker. The conclusion at the club is therefore, in common with most other things, that once again “it’s the supporters fault.”

November 15, 2021 at 9:31 am #217934Lovely bright scoreboard at Gainsborough Trinity. They don’t have a new ground though.

November 15, 2021 at 11:05 am #217941Don Rowing didn’t exploit the potential of the scoreboard initially. It was only after he left that it was used properly according to my frined, the late Rex Garton. I hope the problem is soon resolved.
November 15, 2021 at 12:32 pm #217947Maybe the software is too outdated for it to be repaired, we could always knock a couple of nails in the wall behind the away end goal and get a youngster to hang numbers on them.
November 15, 2021 at 1:45 pm #217948I had read somewhere that they can’t get the parts to repair it any more.
November 15, 2021 at 2:11 pm #217949It wouldn’t surprise me that the software is now pretty much obsolete.
But surely it wouldn’t be too much of an investment to replace it with one that could be incorporated into any new/refurbished ground?
November 15, 2021 at 2:28 pm #217951I have been told on Saturday by my mate who’s on the fans panel that the question had been asked at one of the meetings, and the answer he got was that the costs to repair it, would be quite a bit of money that the club currently don’t have. The costs for a new scoreboard would cost a lot of money too. So it won’t be in operation for a long time by the sound of it, if ever again.

November 15, 2021 at 2:39 pm #217953Fans could contribute to a buy a new one, It was only 6 years that Cod fans crowdfunded £110,000 for their club.
November 15, 2021 at 2:50 pm #217956If we are non league next season I think my idea of nails and numbers might be ok.

November 15, 2021 at 4:08 pm #217958Unless things start to change it would be easy enough. Plenty of games where only one of the numbers needed any work.
