Looks likely they’ll not be playing in NLN next season.
Pitch repairs expected to take 44 wks now at a cost of £3 million, nowt to do with the club mind it’s council owned.
Cant play at Bridlington its not up to NLN standard, York plays rugby as well so unlikely there.
The NL are hardly likely to have another Farsley esq, saga again.
Sorry for the fans, but it wasn’t a great place to go either results wise for us or for a fan experience, very poor viewing and the stewards thuggish behavior towards Scunthorpe fans of all ages.
Not doubting the story Awaywego but in what parallel universe can it take almost a year and cost £3m to relay a plastic pitch?
It was the most shocking plastic pitch I’ve ever seen although Tamworth’s ran it close.
I did say it was owned by the council so every contractor hads a bit on top,
We always had problems at the works athletic club some of the quotes unbelievable if it were you were paying, management members weren’t bothered it wasn’t their money we on the unions were always raining them in.
Anyway much like Farsley it’s what’s underneath chairman says had cameras underneath and there’s subsidence And collapsed drains.
