I thought the rematch with Buxton would be interesting atmosphere but it could be for totally different reasons now. Is it going to be as toxic as it think it could be?
No point, nobody deserving of any toxicity will be there.
Reading everything that’s happened today I’d be amazed if the match goes ahead. Jimmy Dean’s prematch comments tomorrow will be interesting to say the least – I imagine some players bags are being packed as I type – sad day.
No chance of Swanny and Dave walking round the ground arm in arm as a lap of Honour?
That would be interesting if they did Greenun.
Probably wouldn’t be tennis balls.
Bigger crowd now or not? Grandson said am I going to cancel my holiday now, nana said no, funnily enough I was talking with MK at Chorley saying I’d picked the dates as not to biggy games to miss oh the irony of it all.
You go and enjoy your holiday Awaywego. If the Brackley game even happens it’s not exactly going to be a joyous occasion.
Would still liked to have been there though, The son that goes has been given permission to skip a wedding in London, fair play to his missus she don’t like football but gets it and how important it means to us all. Some women are diamonds.
An empty stadium would be what ‘they’ deserve!
It may or may not have been obvious that the writing has indeed been on the wall for sometime. Hope and optimism are terrible things as they give you something to cling to. Still, cling to them I will.
If we really are on the precipice, if SUFC really are about to disappear, or phoenix to re-appear albeit in another guise, if we really do only have one or maybe two more games left at Glanford Park, isn’t it worth all of us who can be there, being there?
Hostile -Yes; Bottle throwing – No, Trouble, No – just pack out the Donny Road End and and let’s go out with some style and class.
We’ve got a second chance to give Buxton a huge mauling on their first, nope, second big day out, many sides won’t get the privilege of their first big day out at at Glanford Park, let’s make it a day to remember.
