Thoroughly enjoyed watching the game. Team selection and bench providing Cox with some good options. Agree that Eisa is best out on the wing. Spence was a standout for sure. And Hyppolite back on his game with some sublime passes. Howard needs to sort out his kicks into touch – 5 in the first half. A point away at Salford is a great result by any means.

Lewis Spence best player on the pitch by miles. He’s got some engine.

Do still worry about us going forward, it’s great we finally have some organisation but 7 shots combined against Cambridge and Salford isn’t a sustainable model for picking up points.

. A point away at Salford is a great result by any means.

A couple of seasons back it wouldn’t have been. Which shows how much work there still is to do to get us back to where we were when Alexander left.

In January I was questioning whether or not Cox was the man to do it, but I’m glad Swann stuck with him. Comments above re: Spence coming in and having a blinder enabling Karacan and Beestin to rest up for Tuesday whilst Gilliead still does a job game in, game out. The fact that we are losing one CB a game yet looking a lot better defensively and also have good cover in both FB positions. All this points to Cox beginning to get the team he wants playing the way he wants.

The problem area is still up front. Much of this is down to that bizarre recruitment last summer. We’ve still four forwards floating around in the ether with barely two games to their name.

Cautiously optimistic that Cox & Co. can build on this and get us challenging next season.

BTW Classic bit of Old School homophobia from BS there.

Could be an interesting bench on Tuesday if some of those injured don’t recover. A look at Teddy Who and KDT or Fela maybe?

Iron-awe—–this is a football forum mate, not an English lesson, or in basic facts, it is to give supporters chance to point out their OWN VIEWS on what they think about matches, players and their experience of our football club, the truth pal is that I stopped my school lessons in 1956, then travelled all over the world working for the next 50 years.

Iron-aw—–it is not really about the way of putting things mate, it is nore about what is put!!!

It really does no good for me, being constantly pulled up about spelling errors, if I was better at spelling, I would certainly get the words right, but at the end of the day mate we all have good points, and I feel sure that no one is perfect, are am I wrong in thinking that?????

As I say Iron-awe, that is my terrible poor part, but I am brilliant at many others, just ask me, and as I said, I have an eye test booked for Tuesday morning, but fear that it will be a waste of time, I only had two new sets of specs four months ago, I think I have has too much fun with moles ha ha!
