Another away win would be brilliant for us, but maybe it is so long since we played in a drawn match, I have the feeling that this could be the one!!

Hope for a win, but my forcast is a 1-1 draw.

I’d take a draw now, only two draws this season which is very low, it’s been one of those ” all ” or” f*** all ” type of seasons. If we had turned half a dozen of those sixteen defeats into draws we would be taking about a play off push now. With all our injuries and little knocks the guys are carrying a draw at Salford would be a good result.

My heart say’s win but my head is saying a step to far for us so I can’t see us getting anything from this game. I hope I am wrong.

Draw would be a very decent result, but we either win or lose so it’ll be a loss today.

Expected changes but surprised to see Hippolyte and Hallam back in the side, big opportunity for them to prove their worth.

Too many changes just like last Saturday at full back and midfield.

    A well-deserved point.
The lads worked really hard and supported each other constantly.

    Happy with that performance.

For another makeshift side the players again looked: organised, determined and slightly more assured in possession. I also thought we put together some nice passages of play- especially in the 1st half.

I was impressed with Hippolyte’s contribution but would always prefer to see Eisa on the wing, he often looks a little lost up front. Kev still isn’t match fit and needs to managed carefully. Hallam looked good first half at the tip of the diamond and made some clever runs. Still think we need to try and create some more chances in a game though.

Defence was solid enough and good to see Rowe and O’Malley get some game time, fast becoming my first choice full backs. Clarke to his credit looked better at CB again. Concerning to see Mcghaey go off though.

Special mention has to go Spence though- I thought that was an outstanding display and the lad deserves full credit. Butt and Keane would have been proud in the stands.

When I saw the team sheet, I thought it was not the best, but they played very well, and possibly shaded posession, but did mot create many chances, so in faioness, a draw was a fair result. These are my rating marks for the team, some might noy agree, but I think they are very fair.

Howard–7–A bit unsure with a few crosses, a poor punch for their goal, but ok.
O’MALLEY—7—Played well and is due a run, forms a good pairing with Rowe.
BEDEAU—7–Looked very safe and defended well, parynered McgAHEY VERY WELL.
MCGAYHEY–7– Good defensive work, and kept the Salford players very quiet.
HIPPOLITE—7—The best I have seen him play, good to watch, some key through balls.
ROWE–7—Played very well (see O’Malleys comments).
HALLAM—5—Did not see a lot of him to be honest, maybe needs playing time.
    SPENCE–8–Got through some very goodwork.
GILLIESD—8—Again my MOM, I hope we can get him sorted on a lomg term contract.
KVV—7—Really worked hard and we have missed him.
EUSA—5—Nice penalty, but he really is not playing well, lost it since last season.

    SUBS—ALL 6.

REF—8—Had a good game, Hippolyte booking was wrong, bit the ref did not award diving like most of them do.

COX—7—The team played very well and deserved their point, I hope that he gives O’Malley and Rowe an extended run in the team, but in general, well done today, and some supporters were over the moon after our game against Cambridge on Tuesday, EVEN THOUGH WE WERE BATTERED BY THEM, BUT TODAY WE REALLY PLAYED VERY WELL.

SALFORD BENCH—2–i recorded 41 verbal “fuck’s” from them during the 98 mins, they poor standard and it sounded to be all from the same lunatic.

Stonewall penalty, no doubt about it.

Spence MOM by a country mile. Hippolyte played well too. Clarke definitely a better centre half than fullback these days.

A good performance, maybe Howard could have done better with the goal but disappointed we didn’t clear it off the line, but they might have thought their defender should have done better to have not given the penalty away, we did a bit of attacking in the second half but didn’t trouble the keeper and they didn’t trouble Howard either apart from the goal and hitting a post from a corner, Clarke was excellent at centre half and Spence looked the best player on the pitch today, it was a good team performance but I think we could have got all 3 points if they had worked the keeper rather than waste it when we got in their penalty area.

Fair marks BS, but agree with the others that Spence was the MOM.

KVV should be told to leave the corners and long range free kicks to others. Can’t understand a striker not wanting to be in the box when we have set pieces. He was in the 6 yard box for their goal!!

Just a great point today, well done guys a rare but welcome draw, let’s just crack on with three more wins we should be fine, but I’ll settle for seven. Hope MaGahey is not going to be out for another long spell, with Taft out till next season and Manny still struggling we don’t need anymore centre back problems. When you the gap between us and our struggling fishy fans, becoming adrift at the foot of league two, t just shows how we have kicked in despite injury problems since beating the Cods. Well done all round at GP. 👏👏👏

Good result and well deserved. Finally a pen for us. Only seen it the once so far but looked fair enough. Thought he was holding Eisa and it probably wasn’t enough to get the reaction it got from Eisa but we were due a penalty. Certainly more of a pen than some we’ve had against us. Didn’t think the ref was great quite picky and throwing cards around a bit. Hippolytes was a terrible decision.

Spence was superb, never stopped and got in the way of almost everything they tried to do.

We miss Lofts energy up front especially away when we are not being massively adventurous.

Thought Hallam did well and Clarke was decent again at CB hopefully McGahey is ok and Onarise will be fit for tuesday.

Exactly the reaction you’d hope for from any player you managed. Cox seems to have decided that Karacan/Beestin is his best CM pairing, Spence has certainly challenged that opinion. If only all players responded that way, well done Lewis, you’ve set the standard for the rest of the squad.

I thought it was a penalty! And to be fair to the ref he was in the perfect position to give.

Premier—-give me a bloody break man, you say thet Spence was your MOM TODAY, I said that MY MOM was Gilliead. If you look at therating marks, I gave boyh of them ratings of EIFGR, which suggests that they both played really well, so no need for your splitting of hairs just to have a go.

And if you look at last weeks marking section, I did state that I have an eye test next Tuesday at 10-15 hrs, so no need for reminding you of it is there?

opinions—opinions—opinions, I PROBABLY KNOW MORE ABOUT FOOTBALL THAN YOURSELF AFTER FOLLOWING IT SINCE 1951, IF NOT THEN, I TAKE MY HAT OFF TO YOU, BUT JUST LETS KEEP IT FRIENDLY, AFTER ALL THESE ARE ONLY SUPPORTERS OPINIONS, SO LETS SAY THAT THEY BOTH PLAYED VERY WELL.
