Got mine. But if it’s Turan and Jarvis up front it won’t be getting used.
May 16, 2021 at 1:24 pm #207188Fair play to those getting season tickets. There is clear correlation between falling quality, dropping through the leagues and the marketability of the club. There will still be 200/300 season ticket holders if we drop to 8/9th tier the problem is the club are trying to sell these tickets under a cloud of asset stripping, squad disintegration, incompetent management of the club and a general feeling of disenfranchisement of the fans perpetuated by the reckless actions if the Chairman. Some fans will never feel this but majority others will.
The latest promise from the Chairman that we will have the players in place by the end of May – well let’s just see how the latest promise goes….. the past records of promise keeping is nothing short of pathetic – for whatever reason.
I won’t and haven’t had a season ticket for 3 years now – my boys just got bored and just don’t want to go – I have also bribed with hot chocolate and cake from Costa’s but the fare on offer has been pretty poor for a good while now (the footy!) I’ll select certain games if and when I can. Logistically its sometimes impossible.

May 16, 2021 at 2:40 pm #207196The chairman didn’t promise Ironawe, just like Cox didn’t promise he’d play attacking football. Cox said signings won’t be made early so I guess one of them will be right.

May 16, 2021 at 3:00 pm #2071973 seasons of decline, a 3rd bottom finish and low wages on offer.
Anyone signing for us before the end of May is either:
(a) Desperate
(b) Sh1te
(c) A member of the chairman’s family
(d) Any combination of the aboveOur best bet is finding a few half decent players who press the panic button in late July or early August and decide the Iron are better than the jobcentre.

May 17, 2021 at 9:30 am #207235I’m not buying one because I’m not happy with the way the club is heading at the moment and the only way I can show the club how I feel is by keeping my money in my pocket.

May 17, 2021 at 10:10 am #207238No doubt the chairman will then say that is is the fans who are running down the club not him!

May 17, 2021 at 11:31 am #207244Well we are the worst supporters in the land apparently!
May 17, 2021 at 11:40 am #207245Not got mine yet, may go game to game and see how it goes, haven’t felt this way about the Iron before TBH, the Prawn has a lot to answer for.

June 1, 2021 at 11:59 am #207882Must be a glutton for punishment, I renewed mine on Friday.
June 1, 2021 at 12:39 pm #207887Got mine over the weekend. Figured I will probably end up at the best part of 23 shite games anyway so might as well do it as cheaply as possible.

Absolutely.
Short change the club, then claim to be a core supporter.
You couldn’t make it up.
😄😄😄😄June 2, 2021 at 5:50 am #207911Alcy wants me to pay more than the going rate for my ticket then I would qualify to be a core supporter.
Don’t remember claiming to be anything.
You couldn’t make it up (unless you’re Alcazar),

Northumbiron—The fans no longer have a club pal, the ground, car park and training pitch have been taken from us, along with any decent players we have had, all we are left with are a small bunch of sub-standard players and another prospect of a relegation fight to stay as a Football League team, but the 2021/2 may end up being the clubs last.
I have met many Scunny supporters, mostly long term season ticket holders for countless years, most of which have had as much as they can take of the GP happenings over the past four seasons, all the carrots that have been dangled, but it has taken me, and possibly most of them six years of 100% backing of what Mr Swann has been telling us, to realise that it has all been bullshit, and no Championship football, no New Stadiums, no refurbished stadium, no appartments, no decent players left at the club, and the latest being informed by the Chairman that he is now the owner of all our land and stadium. So we no longer have any reason to continue trecking down to GP on our Saturdays and Tuesday nights to watch Mr Swanns Scunthorpe United play their boring defensive rubbish, in other words, we have lost our club, and Mr Swann has lost us suppoerters, and it is pointless Awaywego coming on here and saying we will be there, because there will be a few members of a certain family that will sit up and be thinking why are fans no longer turning up????????
