If we’ve any contacts across in Ireland still, then they ought to check this guy out.
I saw him a number of times playing for Hercules last season (4th tier last season, 3rd tier this) and he’s better than anything we’ve got.Ryan Nolan Wiki
.
He’s currently playing for Larne FC in the NIPL.He scored the equaliser in Larne’s 1-1 home draw against 2nd in the table Cliftonville on the 1st of December.
The goal comes at about 13 mins 15 seconds in to the YouTube video Ryan Nolan EqualiserI’ve read that the average wage in the NIPL is about €600 a week and that the average wage in the NLN is about £500.
Pretty similar. The NIPL looks a good standard on the few clips I’ve seen.
Iain Dowie is the FOOTBALL RELATIONSHIPS DIRECTOR at Larne.
They were in the 1QR of the Champions League this season and following defeat in that game they progressed through the 3QR and then Play Offs to secure a place in the UEFA Conference League.
Larne will play 12 games in the (Larne FC) UEFA Conference League this season.
Average attendances at Inver Park this season are 1,685.
The kid’s only 25 and his career stalled due to Covid and a cruciate ligament injury a few seasons ago.
Well worth a look at.

December 9, 2024 at 4:45 am #295312Short of quality at CB – Boyce is ok-ish, Evan’s ain’t too bad.
Depends on the Boards aspirations.
Content to consolidate (stagnate) and operate with Scrooge-like pecuniary policies… then carry on regardless with what we have.We don’t need to break the bank – but we do need better players.
As many have said before, we also need a couple of decent imposing CMs.

December 9, 2024 at 11:13 am #295315Ryan Nolan seems like a great prospect to scout; worth exploring given his talent and current trajectory.

But start to assemble for 2025 – 2026 because some are going are they not ? So if he meets the criteria get him signed and leave him on loan.

December 9, 2024 at 12:24 pm #295319I get the logic but if we signed another CB, there’d be a collective meltdown
December 9, 2024 at 12:27 pm #295320I’d rather us sign a winger.
December 9, 2024 at 12:33 pm #295322Waiting to see who from Hiltons over paid superstar signings jump ship in Jan or June.
Cant see any players in activity happening ..its all quiet on the Western front (and the Boardroom)
December 9, 2024 at 2:56 pm #295332Apart from Fitz and Roberts, I can’t see many others having a better ship to sail in. Where would they get better offers from?

Might focus the attentions of some.

By doing that someone has to admit 352 does not work.
And then many criticised 90 mins of ‘Hoof Ball’ against Alfreton – so was AB saying ‘I will do what I want’ !!The Marine game could be a breaking point.
