I’d say he’s heard that before.
I remember that game against carlisle we battered them all game. Loft looked absolutely useless all game, but scored with a miskick at the near post. Not one of Watson’s finer moments either.
Let’s hope he has lofty ambitions after signing for us.

#gtfc boss Ian Holloway reveals that striker Ryan Loft had a trial at the Mariners before signing for Scunthorpe United.
Interesting – did he choose us or didn’t they make him an offer?
Holloway by all accounts said he failed to make the grade and had his trial terminated, whether he’s saying that trying to save face because he chose us over them is anybody’s guess.
4 goals from 26 league matches suggest that Holloway wasn’t botheredtoo much about saving face.
He’s got “Super James” Hanson anyway. (When he’s fit that is!)
