I believe rather strangely for an away fan to to as such but Ironarmy Gareth is sponsoring the match ball at Rushall .. be interesting to see his match day vid to see how it goes.

Hopefully be great to sell out away again but looking unlikely.

    As for early predictions ..

    Score 3-1 to Scunny

I can’t get my head around the fact that the shortest priced correct score for the game is:

    1-1 @ 11/2

    Never in a million years!

Just watched the ROFC v Farsley game highlights and a few things i noticed.

Capacity circa 1900 … Strange ground small covered stands dotted about and just a fence at one end no sloping terrace. Away end covered area is directly behind the goal but get there early as its tiny.

Pitch ..another plastic 3g but looks way better than the one at Tamworth.

RO players looked shattered second half as commented being full time n fitness levels will be an advantage for Scunny … i did not spot a fat bloke playing as Tamworth had Donelly but dare i say at times even looked like a pub team who had all been on the piss the evening before.

Midfield was real a real dog fight n scrappy not a lot of fluid football.

There will be penaltie(s) in this game .. couple of RO players like the dive in the box so sticking with my 3-1 Scunny win with the RO goal is spot kick.

I will be very surprised if Scunny dont win this one ..

Hopefully the fans treat the club/ground with some respect on Saturday. Looks another good turnout with 500+ expected from Scunny.

Aren’t going myself 3 Saturday away games in a row a tad to much in monetary terms for me, the National league have got this wrong so I have chosen Curzon and Alfreton for the cheaper train days “oh dear” that went tits up, now on the bus at double the cost never mind grandad will pay, enjoy the day for all those who are going.

If we play like we did the first 25 mins of the second half against Darlington we’ll lose tomorrow.

If we play like we did the first 25 mins of the second half against Darlington we’ll lose tomorrow.

What you mean let them have possession, close them down with a good press, make them pass all the way back to their keeper half a dozen times and just let them end up punting meaningless balls forward to no-one? Oh and then go and close the game out with two fresh fitter subs, yep bound to lose. Just shut up moaning bill for once.

Bill usually complains about others being negative as well. I am more confident of us on the pitch.

How does this presuppose God’s existence? If we play like we did for the first 25mins against Sports, we’ll walk it.

Should be a good day out for our fans, it might not be as easy as some are thinking, but we should come away with the three points. I am just hoping that the fans act in a responsible manner.

SCORE PREDICTION RUSHALL OLYMPIC 1 SCUNTHORPE 3

    CROWD 1,714.

Goo luck and enjoy the game supporters.

We’ve been shocking since scoring, should be 1-1 with Rushall missing pretty much an open goal. Need to pick it up in the 2nd half for sure! UTI

According to the other side steward’s were causing problems today with iron fans, big pitch invasion by Oldham fans at Chesterfield they will surely get punished for that.

Rushall will feel hard done by with a 3-0 scoreline. You create your own luck though and it’s no coincidence we are now getting the run of the green.

Ultimately we had the quality in both boxes that Rushall didn’t. A brilliant stop by Fitzsimmons to keep it 1-0 and that touch of quality by Whitehall to see the game off.

We struggled for long periods in this game, especially with the long throws and the ability to win the 2nd ball: Something to work on. However to come away with a 3-0 win is not to be sniffed at and stands us in good stead.
Evans and Beestin the stand out performers.

Didn’t see the away crowd announced but wouldn’t be surprised if it was far off 600.
