Rumours of a board meeting to discuss Mr D,s future yesterday, more rumours of a board meeting with Mr D today?

Rumours of cancelled evening functions by LT and Mr D later this evening

Or are we just being hopeful?

If the board do not act to stop the rot on the pitch, the goodwill and support they have thus far enjoyed may not last.

I think most sensible fans feel the frustration but also see the financial predicament there is in sacking a coach with a contract, thankfully this one has a set term .Rumours are just that ,rumours. They may will turn into facts .It’s pretty clear to me that the best course of action would be to announce his leaving at the end of the season. install a caretaker on a trial basis who may take it without a pay rise ? Then upgrade him/her when the Dean contract ends? As some like Dean,it’s fair to let him go gardening with a thank you and no hard feelings

Local trusted journo seems to know something is going on. If a new person is coming in then the first game on paper looks an easy one or do the board wait and do we waste another game on these tactics (which aren’t working and aren’t changing). Had a dream last night that ACG came back, although Jonny Bairstow was playing for us as well so don’t hold much hope out

If Jimbob’s still at the helm of HMS Ranaground then Saturday’s game at Doldrum Park is going to be an embarrassment.

Radio silence across social media yesterday, so it may well be that something is happening.

Don’t wish the sack on anyone but the whole picture has to be looked at.

Since Michelle and her board took over everyone has helped as much as they can, attending matches, doing the new monthly draw, buying merchandise from the shop, attending race nights. If supporters perceive player disinterest they want to know why and how can it change. If it continues the revenue will reduce and gates will suffer.

    Huge decision ahead.

24 hours is a long time in football. But it is a huge decision with varied scenarios to consider such as Caretaker Team from within, Outsider for short term, Negotiate with someone at another club but may have to wait until season end to announce.

Big decision and there are many things that could speed up or slowdown any change.

Sounds like we may be sticking with this magic formula for the short term. Let’s see how these full time professionals play against a team who are devoid of belief.

It appears we have Dean until the end of the season. Telling you all now, this is going to backfire spectacularly.

“There are currently No plans to do so ahead of Saturday’s trip to Bishop Stortford”

We’ll probably play awful, scrape a win and this shit is going to continue.

After the last few days I feel JD is a zombie manager. He hasn’t been sacked, but everyone from Scunny Bunny, to the groundsman, to the players, the supporters know that it’s just a matter of time.

This will undermine whatever respect the players had for him, and make his job so much more difficult.

We’re not getting promoted with Dean. The board may be too concerned with off field matters to focus on this, I don’t know but this will backfire – maybe the old sporting adage of giving them one too many not one too few games is where they’re at

Look, Dean has had enough time now and he’s proved he’s not good enough. Michelle and co look like they’re giving him until the end of the season.

Very, very dangerous mindset to have because we’ll sink in the play off’s.

Maybe the board are not concerned with another season in this league.
I don’t know how much more of this standard of football and officiating I could take.

Based on what I’ve seen this league is the one our players are equipped for. However nobody deserves the standard of officiating we’ve had to endure. When we were a “small” team playing “big” teams they always seemed to get the benefit of decisions, why doesn’t that work in NLN?

I think cass because the refs back then in the EFL knew what they were doing (wink wink) , this lot clearly don’t know how to referee full stop.

Maybe the Board have done the cost / benefit analysis of promotion and have calculated that it’s financially sounder to remain in NLN.
I have being thinking this for a while now.

If so, the players have certainly taken the idea on board and are giving their full support.

Surprised no one is asking for a statement from the club, Dean or the players, if Swanny was still in charge people would want one.
Guess no one question the great Michelle, in she we trust.

They are asking the like on the Facebook page awaywego. Latest is someone suggesting that every player writes what’s really going on and signs it, in their own blood.

Well we need a reaction from someone after Tuesday.

If it’s not forthcoming from the ownership then it will have to be from the coaching and playing staff.

What is the right call for the club to make now ?
Could another manager get these players to stay second in the league and have a chance of winning the playoffs or do they write this season off now by leaving things alone and risk losing a lot of revenue between now and the end of the season ?

or do they write this season off now by leaving things alone and risk losing a lot of revenue between now and the end of the season ?

It will be more than a risk, it will become a reality. A large section of fans “me included” have had it with Dean and the longer this is left the more and more they will become frustrated with the management, Michelle e.t.c for allowing it to carry on.

This will become a harsh reality and I can’t see it taking much longer. Once Michelle leaves this all to play out she’s literally throwing away all the good work this season and people won’t have it.

They have all asked for us all to pull together and that we have all done. No chance in hell people are going to let this season slide without seeing ambition in wanting to gain promotion.

Michelle needs to explain the situation via a statement. My fear is they’re banking on us beating a completely shite Bishops Stortford side to then give Dean their full backing with a boat load of positive claptrap to follow.

I have a feeling this isn’t going to end well.

If Michelle comes out and gives JD the old “vote of confidence” we know how that usually ends.

Well if they let this play out they’re virtually chucking the season in because no hope in hell we’re going to make it out the play offs. That’s if indeed we even make them !

Michelle and co need to do something shortly. They can’t keep quiet in the background letting this continue, surely ?

I think cass because the refs back then in the EFL knew what they were doing (wink wink) , this lot clearly don’t know how to referee full stop.

The refs have been consistently total gash in this league .. its proven week in week out , prime example the guy against Chester was having a blinder until the red card n then lost the plot missing 2 stone wall pens in the latter stages.

Maybe the Board have done the cost / benefit analysis of promotion and have calculated that it’s financially sounder to remain in NLN.
I have being thinking this for a while now.

Could well be true Rene … lets face it if we were lucky to go up how would we get on the the NL with this bunch.

Real tough call for the BovD TJO .. Saturday JD must know hes in the last chance saloon so come 5pm im sure things will be clearer.. loose hes gotta be gone win he stays to fight another day ..then there is the real prospect of a draw and what then ?????
