All superb today and Rory Watson the last two games has started to look like a good goalkeeper, no serious shot to stop but his handling from crosses and organising the defence was excellent, Rowe certainly looks better at right back than Pugh who did OK in midfield, Loft, Onaraise, Davis and Thompson all had really good games as well.
Thought Rory had good game can’t agree with no serious shot comment thought he pulled of some good saves. Agree about Rowe at right back .also think there’s hope for Jarvis if we can keep him fit
It should have been Taft not Loft the edit not working.
Couldn’t have made many serious saves because they didn’t have a shot on target, but his handling was excellent.
They should look good when the opposition doesn’t manage a shot on target, despite 74% possession.
Remember when we used to do that?
But they made sure they didn’t get any shots in, yes I do remember when we used to dominate games and possession.
Think you can see the influence of Tony McMahon is starting to kick in! The defence didn’t panic and kick it straight to the opponents when under a little bit of second half pressure.
They defended like a league two defender should no nonsense just get rid reorganise and make it difficult to break us down, also I thought Rory (Watson) was outstanding today he dealt with all the crosses and never looked troubled.
You seem to be a top bloke Mick!!
But if a team can’t even get a shot on target when they have all the possession then I think you have to accept it’s more about how s**! They were rather than how good we were
Cox isn’t a good manager!!
They had a lot of possession but did they really have 74%? I find that slightly difficult to believe. But for Murphy rolling back the years that could have easily been 3-0. Encouraging given the circumstances.
