Sorry all you nay-sayers but Apter is one hell of a player.

Saw him a couple of times at the end of last season when he was on loan at Chester. Head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch.

Slight build but like shit off a stick and very skilful. Reckon we’ve pulled off a bit of a coup.

Mind you this is Scunthorpe United he’ll be playing for!

Just to say NI that with all the doom and gloom on here this evening thought I’d mention young Apter who was a breath of fresh air when he came on. Looked a proper young talent and certainly got us going forward better second half. On reflection up until the suicide second involving Dewhurst we looked and I believed would have earned a valuable point. Unfortunately when the second went in late on the game was up but second half was much improved going forward then the disastrous first half display and Apter was at the centre of most of it. He should deffo start on Saturday that’s for sure so good information on your part.

Apter looked as bright as a button. Fletcher also looked decent to me. So …. let’s see how they settle in. A decent CB and we might still be competitive.

It will be valuable experience for him working in this difficult league with a struggling team, he could well click with one or two around him and help drag us up this awful division but we need more experienced bodies in aswell.

Blackpool likely to recall him and move him somewhere else if we carry on the way we’re playing.

Well Blackpool were happy for him to drop into the National League to gain experience and so far he’s done really well, the fact the team he is with is struggling does not reflect on his performances so far which have been great. If he’s playing well, getting good reviews and learning to graft and become a better player I’m not sure they will be too bothered IMO and he’s only here till January anyway.

It’d be interesting to see if Veloci Rapter can play alongside a big & nasty no9 up top.
He might tear teams to pieces?

Agree. Why not play him in the middle. He’s the only one who attacks the defence. On the wing when he’s passed one defender there’s always another one to take on. In the middle when past the central defender he could be in a one on one situation with the goalkeeper.

Their Number 9 last Saturday – can’t be bovvered to look for his name – was such an excellent example of how to hold up the ball, back to goal, at the edge of the box.
A forward who can do that for us is essential.
Haven’t had one since Paul Hayes.

Gave away a penalty for them.
    Bagged for us.
    Redeemed himself?

Let’s hope we kick on now!

Can see Apter being at Scunny long .. hes only on loan with a monthly recall clause and hes getting lots of positive press and interest on social media , hope im wrong as he appears a real handful and at least offers bottoms off seat moments when on the ball.

Hoping the team can build on the last two performances where they appear to have gelled better and offered a bit more in attack.

When you’ve a player like Veloci RApter in the team, then you’ve got to give him the ball as much as possible.

Meaning “swift seizer” in Latin – he’s certainly living up to it.

    Attack, attack, attack.

You certainly wonder why he’s playing in the Conference.

Remember though that he can only play for 2 clubs in a season, I believe, so if Blackpool recall him he can only play for them or send him on loan elsewhere (in which case he couldn’t play for Blackpool). Which they might do but it does slightly limit the option of him being recalled.

Wonder why hes not been in the Blackpool first team plans ??

Talking to my donkeylasher mate last night and he said Blackpool’s problem at the moment was not scoring enough goals.

If Apter starts banging them in for us (or racking up a string of assists) he may well be recalled.

Unused sub for Blackpool yesterday, appears to be first game back after injury. I would guess he’ll go out on loan before the transfer deadline

He is still at Blackpool, under 21s. Would love to see him return on loan for the rest of the season.
