Not possible, I know, after what happened over the ten year spell.

HOWEVER, the club could have gone to the wall, but at the 59th minute of the 11th hour it was saved.
He could have done what the Bury owner did……and didn’t (we’ll probably never know whether this was, or was not, an act of altruism towards us and the club, possibly with further financial loss attached to it).
The other thing I’m thankful for is that the Academy, as far as I know, survived all the cutting and asset stripping throughout the decline.

Don’t know and don’t care. Suspect whatever he did was in the best interests of himself.

Might be one I’m interested in coming back to at some point at a later date once time has passed and we know more detail about the takeover process, if we ever do.

Not a chance. He wanted to own the club. All the decisions were his. The recruitment plan over the last 5 years has been an unmitigated disaster. He chose the path of excessive spending. He 100% ignored the fans.

His duty was to care for the club while he owned it. To HONOUR his promise that the club would be better off financially when he left – not to leave it near broke with a winding up petition ! If his plan was a ‘gamble’ we all know how good a gambler he was !!

He should never be allowed near a professional team again .

I assume he was paid money for the club and therefore he wanted to make sure he maximised the return? Like making sure your house looks presentable when you try to sell it!
