Gallimore is good enough to play a part, as are Moore-Billam, Ethan Young, Lewis and Wilson. Shrimpton not sure about and Cribb despite being talented is very slight in stature and could benefit from a loan playing men’s football.
Lewis has a slight question mark over him because if we don’t play with width and if O’Malley stays fit for the majority he’s not going to get game time.
Am I wrong about the Bristol Rovers game that Ethan had a real bad un?
Ethan Young was awful in every game unfortunately. Correct he isn’t a LB but he couldn’t do the basics for me and that is worrying.
He would get bullied at CB by so many strikers.
From the Hartlepool Mail….
The deal, which Scunthorpe have disclosed as a free transfer, sees Ogle make the step down to the National League with the Australian himself admitting it was an opportunity he could not turn down.
“I had a good chat with the gaffer and Tony [McMahon] and their pitch to me was that they’re looking to bounce back into the league and are throwing everything at it.
I thought it was too good of an opportunity to pass up.”
So there you have it. We’re bouncing back!
Must have been some long noses during his interview 🤥
So there you have it. We’re bouncing back!
I have a sneaking suspicion once the new owners are in “whoever they may be” we’ll get some better players in and have a bit of a go.
I know about frying pans and fires but when you get as low as we’ve gone – any move almost has to be upward.
We could drop a long way yet, plenty of scope…..
The psychological impact of new owners arriving and more importantly the old one departing on the entire fan base will be massive, only then will a proper change start to be seen IMO.
We need an Ogle chant:
Ogle, Ogle
He’ll make your mind Boggle.
?
I’ll get my coat.
Well, he scored within 5 minutes at Farsley, that’s got to be worth a chant.
