Hi guys just writing a piece about Mick Grant a referee from the sleaford area who sadly has passed away of a brain haemorrhage after being struck in the head by a ball at a school game.
Referee’s get loads of grief from every corner in games and are often abused very badly, we are only human and will make mistakes but it’s not malicious or done intentionally but it just happens and all people have different opinions.
Maybe Something like this should make people think twice before they are abusing, spitting at, pushing, shoving, and threatening to kill the ref,
So at three o’clock tomorrow please share a small thought for Mick and his family in these sad times.
