Will it succeed?
February 24, 2024 at 7:06 pm #281644No
February 24, 2024 at 7:17 pm #281645No chance, but then again 3400 looked well dodgy today.
Cant believe Humbersides finest aren’t insisting on a 1oclock kick off renowned trouble makers bringing about a thousand, observe Michelle when they want early kickoffs for the likes of Farsley.February 24, 2024 at 9:28 pm #281648“Renowned trouble makers” you utter joker. As you should be aware Chester have been on the receiving end of pretty draconian restrictions and constant interference from our Local Safety Advisory Group due to problems at the brackley play off last season. But this season there have no issues home or away. Although I may be wrong but didn’t Scunny fans have early problems in this league ?

February 24, 2024 at 11:24 pm #281655No chance unless we fudge the figures. Would be happy with over 5.
Thought Chester might have brought a few more unless they’re expecting a surge this week.

Turgid football 2nd and possibly slipping No.February 25, 2024 at 9:54 am #281667Out of interest, what is the record attendance for a normal (i.e. non-playoff) match in the NLN?
February 25, 2024 at 10:47 am #2816686311 look at yesterday’s online programme on the Owp Sod not once but twice pushing us to beat the record, get rid of these big time Charlie’s doing us no good whatsoever.

February 27, 2024 at 11:54 am #2817365,500 home fans plus 1,000 Chester fans required then.
We’ve only topped 5,000 twice this season:
5,063 v Brackley
5.227 v TamworthWe’ve struggled to tip 3,500 in the last 3 games.
Predicted Att: 4,671

February 28, 2024 at 2:27 pm #281785Quite a few stalwarts will be getting £10 tickets fromm season ticket Holding mates
February 29, 2024 at 5:23 pm #281822Big surge in sales this week- looks like the grassroots has been another success.
Less than 300 left in the DRE and close to a 1000 for Chester.
February 29, 2024 at 7:19 pm #281827Would there be any less Chester fans coming if it wasn’t the community day.
February 29, 2024 at 8:23 pm #281828I wouldn’t say sales Cliff, but it would appear that they have got rid of enough to break the record already, 2870 home seats gone, the 1000 from Chester and 2700 in the DRE.
Would be nice if they all turn up even i will be impressed with the club.1 user thanked author for this post.
February 29, 2024 at 9:44 pm #281831Just been on website and had to queue for tickets, sounds promising! Looking at seats available I reckon about 400 left probably nearer 300, could be close to the record I reckon, be good if we sold out Britcon.
February 29, 2024 at 10:02 pm #281833Donny Road end sold out. Having to sit for first time in 30 years.
February 29, 2024 at 10:14 pm #281835I wouldn’t say sales Cliff, but it would appear that they have got rid of enough to break the record already, 2870 home seats gone, the 1000 from Chester and 2700 in the DRE.
Would be nice if they all turn up even i will be impressed with the club.1,000 went to grassroots and they were allocated earlier in the week by the looks of it, rest have been sales. I know people who haven’t been in years who have bought a ticket so something has caught on.
Record will be surpassed- looking at roughly 6.5k sold already.
Apparently the rail travel from
Chester is £1 On a special deal, so that might have something to do with it?February 29, 2024 at 10:49 pm #281836Just been on and you’re still able to buy for the DRE – not sold out yet.

utiA huge worry for me IFA. I’ve lost count of the number of times an Iron team has frozen at home when there’s a big crowd there that the club need to come again.

March 1, 2024 at 9:23 am #281851March 1, 2024 at 9:30 am #281852There’s one way round it Cass sack Dean and bring Big hair back for tomorrow, he was the one that broke that mould.
March 1, 2024 at 9:37 am #281853A quite incredible number of tickets sold, well done to the club and everyone who has got involved in making it happen.

March 1, 2024 at 12:12 pm #281865Looks as if it’ll be smashed.
About 250 tickets remain in the east stand.
Less than 50 available in west stand. If the ground capacity is 9,088 – then it looks as if it’ll be 8k plus tomorrow?
March 1, 2024 at 1:07 pm #281867Can’t remember the last time we shifted so many home tickets?
A full away end and that’s almost an 8k crowd.
Incredible effort all round.
