When i managed to find the commentary it was OK … this guy Penberthy (i think) and Torps did a good job giving the listener a good idea of the area of the pitch the passage of play was in ..must say way better that Wishart who should be never allowed near a football commentary mic ever again.

What I usually do these days is to use: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/national-league
Scroll down and there is (usually) a photo of a broadcasting unit and caption. Click on that and you are up to your eyes in commentaries from across the nation.

Maybe shouldn’t have praised Ollie – very late for our 1st goal and not brilliant keeping up on the play with our second.

Why is Humberside always amongst the last to go to the commentary? (Pretty often – last and late!)
Today commentary began at 3-02 pm.

Although it was a very poor game today, I thought the commentators made a good job of the veery poor football match, and I was just pleased that the game was covered by RH, with no Hull City and no blessed Rugby now being played.

Had to chuckle as the Cods had the pleasure of Mr Wishart commentating yesterday at FGR .. lots of comments on fishy re just how bad a commentator he is constantly getting names and info wrong and not keeping up with play .. personally i thought the guy Ollie did a decent job .. sadly as previously mentioned HR are always late to go live which is very annoying missing the pre match team sheet, walk out and even kick off .

Week in week out HR is total gash … tho i must admit listening to John Tondeur bemoaning the Cods getting another tonking 5-1 at home perked me up ..even if it was Donny that administered the whipping .. The NOT SO Mighty Mariners are in real trouble in L2 , playing awful and a plethora of very salty comments on the Fishy are well worth a read.
