Am I right that we had 10 men for a long period?
Did commentators mention this or did I miss it?

Based on what I heard there was more than one that didn’t get involved very much.
Did Max Bell’s fee comprise free entry and 10p per word?

Why was the RH commentary breaking up? – It must have happened more than 60 times in today’s match. Breaks of roughly 4 seconds one after another.

Could barely hear the commentator in between breaks. Strangely the ex-player was much clearer than the “professional” broadcaster.

Yes it kept going off air every minute for about 4 to 8 seconds each time, I thought that it was only mine which had the problem, but reading this, it was everyone having the problem. RH never bloody fails does it, although this problem did not haPPEN LAst week when the shite rugby was on!!!

commentary wasnt too bad here ..a few dips into silence but not as many as others are commenting .. liked the guy sitting in with the commentator ..(dunno his name missed it) he talked a lot of sense and nailed Ellis to the goalpost when he got Evans sent off .. he cheated , fained injury and pain to get the red card for Evans .. spot on.

I wasn’t keen on Bishop as the expert summariser.
See how he goes, he may get better?

Some of our fans live abroad so find it difficult to attend games, however some of those fans follow the games on radio Humberside or even on live TV stream so are well able to form an opinion on games and whether the opposition managers after such games accurately reflect how the game played out, in the fans opinion of course.

He was definitely there. I saw him. So the only other possible explanations for his summary are either not concentrating or having a health episode ..or maybe being rabidly biased.

I see they are resurrecting the 1 hour Weekday Sports programme. James Hoggarth has got the gig and the times just the same 6pm until 7pm.

It really is the first positive for Humberside Sport for quite a few years.

HR are total gash .. every week technical issues and yet again today the commentary has dropped out just as they are about to kick off.

That commentator, Wishart, is poor. Kept saying Bennett instead of Elliott even in the post match interview with Plummer. Kept going on about no 4th official as if it was just for this game when they don’t have 4th officials at this level, he should know that.

He needs to be told that the time for anecdotes is not when play is in progress, George Kerr was a shocker for doing that. Also ” he’s going through” isn’t much help!! Who is? Even which team he plays for would help. Maybe he’ll recognise our players by the end of the season.

My first impressions on Wishart were that, once he learned names and got used to the team, he’d be good.
I was wrong – monumentally wrong, CT.
I often had no clue as to which goal was being attacked!
As I have written on more than a few school reports over years – Must do better!

I quite like Hinds as co commentator yesterday and he got things bang on especially in summing up post final whistle.

HR and this fella Wishart are as his name suggests Shart .. after yet more technical issues he constantly got names wrong and blamed the sun in his eyes for not following play .. the fact he didnt know there isnt a 4th official at this level tells its own story.

Every few seasons back in the 60s and early 70s there’d be a tannoy call for a qualified ref to run the line. It was not considered unusual back then.
My good buddy Trev Wells did it in one game, I recall.
