Caught some coverage of the goals on the way home in the car, think they were Peterborough Sports commentators, describing the goals scored as by Scunthorpe United and Sports. Did not recognise either voice.

How interesting to hear Coxey and the commentator(?) having a good old chat although somewhat repetitive. Very kind of them to fit in 30 minutes of commentary in between.

Indeed cass exactly my point re the HR commentary , Jackson n Cox were waffling on about all sorts of crap and then every now n then ..oh hang on we are here to commentate on the game.
Im just pleased i can listen but really hope HR can get the usual guy back, Tamworth was excellent with Russ Wilcox joining the excellent HR fella (forget his name).

Its match day again …could some kind hearted Bru member please put the HR (or local stationto Rushall) commentary link up… lets hope Mr Cox is having a day off

Ollie was poor and Russ sounded as if he was trying to eat his mic.
Ollie must remember that he is the ‘eyes’ of the listener.
Events don’t happen suddenly. There is always a build up to everything that occurs.
I’ve heard him commentate a great deal better than today.

Russ “for me” was miles better than Cox who preferred to talk rather than allow commentary. Agree it wasn’t Ollie’s best. Is Mike Dean still about? (Or Shep!!)

Or maybe even Matt Dean, he’s sports editor now I believe he certainly anchors the football show on match day, he was our commentator back in the Championship days, think he’s a cod head but he was a pretty decent commentator on our games.

I managed to get the commentary link sorted via BBC app once i got round my click sending me to the Squad Goals programme ..
Commentator was ok …just ok .. but allowing for technical issues he was facing and by the sound of it picking up all the surrounding chit chat must of been off putting , you clearly hear JD and RO officials discussing various match day issues during the commentary ..Russ Wilcox is way better than Mr Cox.

Just happy to be able to listen.

Ok thanks will give it a try but im working today riding shotgun with our lorry full of booze leaving to travel up North this afternoon, its the only way to avoid “broken” (robbed or drank) bottles ….

Somebody told me that commentaries have been done on mobile phones!

It could be, I could hear Richard Hinds OK but the ‘commentator’ appeared to think Hinds (sitting next to him) was the only one listening. Speak up you twonk!!

RH is bollocks … always having issues of some kind and very annoying they advertise pre match coverage to start 2-30pm – 8-30 pm here the same as all the other radio stations ..Radio Lincs , Kent Surrey , Tees etc they all seem to be exactly on time whilst Humberside still not gone live at 2-45pm and counting .. SHIT SERVICE

Lets hope the commentary id good and without Hope.
