Surely it must be a very big plus for us if not recorded on RH, look on the bright side.

Barton Town and Bottesford are not on the radio, so why should that rubbish??

All i could get was commentary on Radio Essex so needed to listen and translate very carefully, as well as the obvious bias the numerous break aways to see how teams like Coldchester and Braintree were doing made for a tedious listen..
Couldnt find RH commentary only some crap called Squad Goals with some proper turnips talking utter crap.
I dont know RH policy on how low they will go re LIVE commentaries but possibly wont be listening to Scunny next season ..wait n see.

BTW sounded total gash and embarrassing again yesterday only positives were young Robertson and Elliot scoring a well taken goal…

So, if there is going to be no live coverage next season – how about a live fans commentary broadcast on Facebook?
I’m sure one of the young tech savvy supporters would enjoy that?
Not everyone lives locally or is even in the country but would like to hear the games.
That’s assuming we are still here next season?

Just watched the highlights of Kettering Town V Chester .. Whitehouse played well again also a rather rotund chap wobbling around called Alex Kenyon who was Chester Captain.. not good quality commentary or vid but better get used to it.

i will miss the live game commentaries if they do go …imagine dropping so low down the football pyramid that you cant even find live commentary and or decent YT highlights…. welcome to the world of a Scunny fan next season.. ar well least wont have to listen to Footballing guru and expert tactician Niel Cox.

Maybe the club will offer a commentary service via the website ??

Humberside are covering it. A tweet from them says it is on Freeview channel 721. Don’t suppose you can access that.

Had a look on the BBC Sounds app and the schedule for Radio Humberside suggests it will be available there.

Thanks for the commentary link samways , it was a hard listen at times and sounded like a pretty dire game played in bad weather on a dikky pitch.. Russ Wilcox in the commentary box was a bonus much prefer him or anyone over Mr Cox.

Interesting interview with DH in which he was asked a few awkward questions but sounded very positive.

I’ll be there Saturday but can’t make it Tuesday.
National League TV shows the game as up for TV on the 15th. So, have signed up with Paypal as it apparently shows Tuesday game televised.
No sign of it for actually booking.
Anyone know if the Saturday game has to be played first? Or have I made a cock up? – Or more likely – is my final brain cell failing?

I think you should be OK as Saturday’s games are not available for UK subscribers.

I don’t think they are getting covered at all Saturdays at 3pm, MKI.
I’m often abroad and watched a fair few in the NL last season.
That site is not hugely user friendly. The match is only 6 days away so would have expected the signing up for it to be available at this point.
Sorry. But missing Iron games makes me panicky. A true addict.

I think from National League TVs poorly worded marketing that NLN Saturday games will only be covered during recognised International breaks i.e. when the almighty Premiership are not playing. From memory from when I used it last season the schedule does not appear until the day of matches.

They are now advertising a 7 day package for £9-50 from the 15th August which includes us.

I have tried several ways to pay and have failed, so far.

I have never managed to pay using credit or debit card. Always ended up resorting to PayPal which has always worked for me.

I did contact their support one time regarding the problem paying with cards but they just rather unhelpfully told me it should work.

Whoever was on commentary they weren’t in the usual seats, but did see Neil Cox at the other end of the reporting area, but was on his own when I saw him.
