Gutted.
We concede in +4
Kiddy equalise at Buxton in +2
Double Gutted!
It’s so tight at the top.April 5, 2025 at 5:08 pm #301787we aren’t winning 4 on the bounce – play off’s it is
Are Kidderminster and Brackley winning 4 on the bounce then? Few dummies being spat out tonight, I believe we are still top of the league, just an alternative view to the negativity.

April 5, 2025 at 5:12 pm #301789It’s results like today, the loss at Rushall and the bore 0-0 at Oxford that will cost us the title. Can’t see us getting anything away at King’s Lynn or Hereford unless our away performances improve dramatically!
April 5, 2025 at 5:18 pm #301790Listened to commentary. Two questions:
1) How many times did Kelly lose possession?
2) How many shots on target did we have?April 5, 2025 at 5:22 pm #301791The only team in the top 13 to lose today.

The answer is blowin in the windApril 5, 2025 at 5:23 pm #301793we aren’t winning 4 on the bounce – play off’s it is
This. Not a chance.
April 5, 2025 at 5:31 pm #301797Brackley have the easiest run in Warrington away Oxford home Leamington away Farsley home
April 5, 2025 at 5:47 pm #301799On the up side we only need to win four on the trot now
April 5, 2025 at 6:01 pm #301801Still in our hands – now’s the time for cool heads. Us included.

Isn’t happening.
Can you honestly see that side beating Spennymoor next week? Let alone Kings Lynn and Hereford away.
April 5, 2025 at 7:15 pm #301805Before today they had the worst defensive record in NLN, conceding approximately 1.5 goals per game. We have played them for approaching 200 minutes and failed to score. (Based on stats [we all love stats] therefore we should have scored 3) Can’t remember stats from the home game, which we could/should have lost, but their keeper made one save today. Lucky to still be top, will I be able to say that next Saturday? Apart from the fans is anybody bothered?

April 5, 2025 at 7:37 pm #301806Dreadful performance right through the team. One fairly tame effort on target. A 4 out of 10 for effort for Carlton and Alfie perhaps. 2’s and 3’s for the rest. 1 for Butler and Schofield for their inability to work out the issues and apparent lack of any discernable attempts to change anything.
Reminiscent of similarly nondescript performances at Scarborough and Rushall.
Well deserved win by a very limited Radcliffe side who worked like bears and evidently wanted it more.
Player of the day was a few miles up the road helping Spennymoor get to Wembley.

April 5, 2025 at 9:20 pm #301815Utter shit show today MK got it about right, couldn’t name a man of the match there wasn’t one.
Though I can’t say a well deserved win for them.
When that elusive goal was needed cos Whitehall wasn’t there no where to be seen, one shot in the second half ffs, seen that game so many times this year.Glad we lost instead of drawing couldn’t face a Butler interview with him creaming in his pants saying if you dont concede you at least get a point. It would really have been a piss poor point.
Probably the best pitch we’ve played on all season maybe sign their groundsman.
What a great chance to almost put the title in the bag today with Kiddie drawing and yet again we don’t turn up, to slow to repetitive no desire.
Should really be bringing Finn back but that wouldn’t be fair on him with Wembley beckoning, and if he’s any sense he’ll try and stay there next year.
Unless we’re winning the bench looks week.2 users thanked author for this post.
April 6, 2025 at 3:24 am #301817Well WTF did we just witness , at this crucial part of the season the players looked flat ,total lack any desire or intensity and created nothing in the way of attempts on goal thus missing a great chance to capitalize on Kiddy dropping points and more so letting down the 700 plus fans who traveled.
Maybe the discontent off the field is effecting the staff n players but being professional it should not.
Sad to say we aint going up automatically on that form and with Brackley look ominously good and with a soft run in we could well end up in the playoffs with Kiddy , 4 others lets say Chester Chorley Curzon Hereford and ??? so another year in NLN which in all intense n purposes could lead to many more when the squad is dismantled.A VERY BAD DAY AT THE OFFICE

April 6, 2025 at 9:34 am #301819I did not see this one but I’ve still seen a fair few dismal displays this last season.
Every side will have a real mare on occasion but we’ve had rather too many and often crossing over that – the promotion-wrecking draws need to be taken into account.
Us away at Kidderminster is starting to look ever more likely.April 6, 2025 at 9:56 am #301821Total mare yesterday for all on the trains and trams, first set of lads
April 6, 2025 at 9:59 am #301822April 6, 2025 at 10:06 am #301823Total mare yesterday for all on the trains and then the tram, 7.08 cancelled for the early birds 8.08 an hour late suppose most on the 9.08 got that one but was also 20 mins late, 10.08 which we were on 40 mins late to start with kicked off at Sheffield no driver to take the train on to Liverpool, packed us on to a northern that stopped at every diddly dong station going (very pretty route though) finally arriving at Manchester Piccadilly 1hr 30 Late got to the ground at 2.55.
Fans go through everything supporting the team it would have been nice for them to have turned up and supported us.
It’s what we do warts and all.3 users thanked author for this post.

Unbelievable!!!!!
April 6, 2025 at 10:55 am #301825I’d take a piss poor point every time rather than none, never pleased when my team loses, Awaywego you get stranger by the the post!!!

April 6, 2025 at 11:19 am #301827Unbelievable maybe but you know its true when coming to Butlers thoughts.
What in reality would that point have done for us? 4 games left to play win 3 lose one and kiddie win 3 draw one is the only scenario that a point yeterday would help us has most folks would see.
Maybe it’ll focus Butler and the players minds that to win games to have to get the ball in the box and create chances cos has showed yesterday one chance for them and we were toast.
April 6, 2025 at 1:45 pm #301829Thought Mr Butlers Humberside interview summed it up – bereft of passion and disappointment.
Fans have dug deep this season and 700 away at Radcliffe shows they are interested. Perhaps the manager and players should say if it is worth turning up anymore ? Do they realise they are playing for the gates of next season and judging the comments after yesterday people will have second thoughts.

ABs interview was very strange in the way he came across .. as if it was loss in a pre season friendly when it was a key game in which the team failed miserably seemingly swished aside with little emotion.
BTW we are now in a 4 game league so will treat is such .. what twaddle.
April 6, 2025 at 2:25 pm #301832One year in this division was disgusting for us 2 years was disastrous 3 years would be unforgivable.
Made my mind up a bit ago that I shan’t be renewing my season ticket (you feel has though you’ve got to go if you have one) so mainly away for me depending on how they’re doing, would still have gone yesterday but seen what I saw, so no Kings Lynn and very doubtful for Hereford.
I know there’s always that pull but people are questioning cost, time v reward more now especially away.
Still nothing that a promotion would do to help.Oh dear IFA, normally in a 4 team league like the world cup it’s important you don’t lose your first game hope that’s not inbred in him that a draw would be good result.

After loosing yesterday its a 4 game league ..3 teams but yes i get your point.
Drawing yesterday would not have been a good result .. playing so poorly and loosing it was disasterous.
Im sure a few fans are questioning their loyalty after that rather lukewarm effort and feel let down rightly so .. AB post game comments did not do anything to infuse any belief IMO , like a shrug of the shoulders by Carol “computer says NO”.
My inner happy clapper to the rescue .. we are still top and only 4 wins away from the title bla bla bla
April 6, 2025 at 5:39 pm #301844Been to 13 away games and seen another 6 on stream.
Apart from Brackley and South Shields we appear to have taken the field with a plan to keep a clean sheet and nick a win if possible. I get that approach when your at the likes of Kidderminster, Chorley. Chester and Curzon.
I don’t understand it at the bottom half teams. Fed up of wasting so many Saturdays and quite a wadge of cash seeing us set up and play negatively against pretty poor football teams. Won’t be bothering with the last 2 away games and certainly won’t be attending any next season if we’re still in this league and Butler remains in charge.

April 6, 2025 at 6:32 pm #301845we haven’t set out with the mindset of risk losing to win it – Of the drawn games if we had won a third, lose a third and drawn a third would looking good with 85 points now.
A point yesterday would have meant we would beat Brackley with 92 and hope Kiddy drop 2 points somewhere. Now you can be optimistic as you like the reality is Kiddy and/or Brackley will get to 92 points. Only 4 wins will do, no evidence this season says that will happen. Semi final at home and final away it is1 user thanked author for this post.
April 6, 2025 at 6:34 pm #301846Interview with Maxi on RH, no talks with anybody about a new contract. Presumably this applies to everybody but Beck, Scales & Evans, could this be a contributary factor to the performance yesterday?
April 6, 2025 at 7:18 pm #301847Why would that be an issue yesterday but not against Chester/Southport?
