Town and club working together fabulous
‘Quibble Park’ as Hilton called in that infamous Iron Hour Podcast. Absolute clown.
How I heard him,https://youtu.be/qIpYP183zDQ?si=qkTjJO9amTRgduKJ
In the future we may redevelop Quibell Park for a much need upgraded training facility.
Why do the club need Q park ?? when they have the JT Training ground at AAGP , plastic pitch at JLC and Bottesford.
I can only think its part of the community asset deal.
The club are only leasing the training pitch at the Attis at the moment. Would not be surprised if it was developed in the longer term and training moved to Quibell Park.

Who from?
Many years ago I had the pleasure of speaking with the then Borough Solicitor and we talked about Quibell Park. I asked could the council acquire it and sell in the future if they wanted. He said “Not a chance” seems Lord Quibell had some of the most incredibly difficult to amend Covenants in the life term loan to the town. The advice they got from the best in the land – give it up they had never seen anything like it.
I don’t know how true this is but read on twitter that the council may end up redeveloping/repurposing the training pitch and as tops said, we’ll develop Quibell park and move there with help of cause from the council.

I was under the impression everything was owned by the New Showground CIC
I think the council owns the land which the training pitch is on.
If my memory services me well, when I looked at removing a Covenant on a property in Barton, the conditions were dictated by the length of Term left on the covenant, and it was a maximum 99 years, and I had to apply to the house of Lords for removal. The other conditions had all expired, like no horse drawn carriages etc.
