What do posters think of yesterday’s protest’s? Do you think they will achieve anything? Did anyone notice any? They certainly haven’t made the TV or papers yet, moving forward what should the next protest be?

Hopefully it’ll mean Swann doesn’t cover anymore losses we incur and doesn’t bother helping whoever is manager in January bring in new players that they want.

I don’t care who the owner is but a protest without any plan is not wise.

Why would 150 fans leaving at half time make the news? Complete waste of time when there were 100 or so happy clappers at the end stood clapping the hopeless cunts off!

It’s okay, Bucks has written an open letter.

    Things should get moving soon.

To make the news you need to do something drastic! Run on and stop play. Sit in the centre circle and refuse to move. Get the game abandoned. Chain the gates of the stadium so they can’t get back to their cars after an away game or even better so they can’t leave after training. Drape a huge SWANN OUT over the bridge on the M180. Loads of things we can do which will make the headlines. Yesterday was a poor effort and will have ZERO effect.

Oh and if anyone says what plan, then for a start it’d be a good idea if all the shareholders went to the meetings that are on offer to ask questions rather than a few silly chants/posts on here that make zero difference.

The Iron Trust should be organising something like this rather than sending out emails about ‘safe standing’ every week.

Like on the other side of Keadby Bridge and on the other side of the Railway Bridge on Donny Road it still says Laws out on the wall

To be fair the players have made a start with this already.

Talking with people I know one said we all ought to get down to the ground at 1pm Saturday, have a few pints , make a lot of noise, make our feelings well known, and then all bugger off home and do something useful with our time come ten to three.
At least that way nowt would invade or get thrown on the pitch, and nowt would upset the wilting flowers on it, come kick off !!!

Those whose stayed and clapped at the end need to have a word with themselves.

150 people leaving at half time is insignificant, but it’s a start. I expect the biggest form of protest this year to be empty stands. Like I said on another thread, crowds could end up at 1,500 this year.

Well at least a start was made for those wanting Swanny and or Cox out, agree that singing is not the answer,if everyone had left it would have looked impressive with no one in the away end,and sure someone would have reported on it, at the end of the day half a dozen of us tried our best with a non violent non disruptive protest which was urged by many of you,we came across quite a lot of anti protesters who wanted to argue but most of us just accepted their stance and moved on. Needs taking forward now probably needs what lucentdream says a bit more direct action. Southend fans saw a result of their actions so it can work maybe not really what they wanted but a result all the same.

If you still want to go to the home games but also want to make a point, how about staying outside for the first 5/10/15 minutes? Kicking off in an almost empty ground would make a pretty strong statement.

If we miss the first 15 minutes we will be missing 2 or 3 goals

I agree Ferrite this would make a statement and I would willingly do the same, stay outside until after the match has kicked off for 5 minutes or so. This I’m sure would make the news too. It’s got to be something that will make a difference. Either do that or demonstrate after the match and refuse to leave the stadium for 10 minutes or so whilst this is happening. Something must be done to show up what is happening to our Club.

I would also go along with this. The turnstile operator’s would have to be onboard as well or we might not get in. Which may or may not be a bad thing.

Can’t you go in and just stay on the concourse till the game kicks off, just a pointer to make it easier for you, Ps if you decide to stay after the game why not take a cloth along and give them seats a clean.

Lol, given the success of your last attempt at inciting a mass protest, you’re probably not best placed to be giving pointers on the matter 😆

Might miss our opposition’s first two goals.

Wasn’t it me who said that the protests wouldn’t get off the ground with Scunny fan’s Deerey, even speaking to hundreds at 5-0 down the response was pathetic, though they were good at singing we want swanny out we want swanny out lol, I’ll stick by my statement bunch of pussies.

    Protests are pathetic full stop.

They seem to be ‘in vogue’ throughout society at the moment, despite achieving zero.

Well for a start shareholders can attend the meetings with the chairman.

Secondly sign up to the iron trust if they get a member on the board.

And in the meantime we continue to get hammered every week. The attendances drop below 2,000 and we become detached at the bottom of the league.

Because by the time of the shareholders meeting that’s where we’ll be!

    Action now, not words later.

You make it sound like Swann putting the club up for sale will improve our performances on the pitch!

It could take years for a suitable buyer to to be found and in the meantime all you’ve done is alienate the man paying all the bills to keep the club afloat.

“Alienate the man paying all the bills to keep the club afloat”. We can see whose hymnsheet your singing from and shose pulling your strings too. Your a puppet or is it a muppet if you believe that statement. SWANN CANT LOSE HIS COMPANY OWN THE STADIUM AND ASSETS, HES MADE SURE OF THAT. Did you listen to Bob Steele on Radio Humberside tonight. A true longlife supporter as well as a Telegraph Sports Reporter previously. He spoke the absolute truth about Swann and our football club and how much he is not trusted by our supporters. You obviously are a member of the Swann clan.

The fans have alienated the owner?

    Yeah, right!
