For me the protest tomorrow is 6 months too late. Back in October we may have forced a change in direction which would have prevented our impending exit from the League.
Many supporters have been protesting all season by not attending matches or buying merchandise etc. After the disgraceful handcuffing v Harrogate I am sure had Pawn remained many more would have protested with their feet.
The spoilt rich kid has now broken the toy beyond repair and is throwing it away over his shoulder and simply walking away to never look back. Leaving somebody else to play nanny and pick up the pieces.
We the much maligned, down-trodden and shat upon who are loyal to our club and it’s badge who will be here today and tomorrow regardless of which league or division the club finds itself in should be celebrating that no further damage can be inflicted on us or our beloved club.
Not so, we are left wondering if Ernest Pawn will return the assets ie ground and the car park thus selling everything and allowing any new owner to take the club forward without being hamstrung from the onset.
Actions speak louder than words so we won’t or can’t be assured until any deal is firmly done and the details scrutinised.
If I was buying the club I would wish to see and hear vociferous passionate supporters standing together making their voice heard as one from the terraces whilst still supporting their team.
Don’t you think the fans who go are doing enough by just attending, to go week in week out its the players who should be supporting the fans.
Liquidation would be the Grim Reaper!
In my opinion SWANN is still saying what goes at our Club and is simply pulling the strings of Lee Turnbull the puppet of the SWANNS. We supporters aren’t stupid and know what is going on SO C’MON LETS HAVE THAT PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION TODAY, OUR VOICES MUST BE HEARD.
