Another step into feeling like our old league club .
Positive move i hope its a success, always thought it was a stupid move firstly to give them away free to season ticket holders and then to go digital, programmes have always being a big part of football.
I didn’t realise they’d got rid of them, was that a Hilton or Swann “improvement”?
I haven’t bought a programme in decades, I don’t really see the point of them in the internet age, but I know they’re important to many people.
Can’t wait to get my New Years Eve Kings Lynn Town programme.
Swann the freebies and Hilton went the digital route to cut costs, would seem like it’s got to pay its own way or will be ditched fair imo.
As a kid there was nothing better than having your own program and then getting as many signatures of both sets of players as you could.
Great move.
The program at my Spanish club consists of 16 pages and is free.
It carries an editorial, tables, club fixtures, week & weekend league fixtures, year to date results of all the teams in the league (grid), the opposition (the club & players), Herculanos (fans) Around The World, Herculean Heredity (games, managers, players, trophies etc), Blue & White Legends (more modern history, 1970s to now), Guest Writers (ex players & managers), U19s section, U16s section, the History Files.
Not bad for nowt!
I used to buy them back in my youth but like Ferrite haven’t bothered in years. A lot of people still collect them and will have boxes of them back at their home stashed away in the loft or somewhere. Gave all my all boxes programmes away to the late John Staff years ago which he sold on and donated the money back to the club of course.
